The Swan & Castle - Oxford - Photo album

First, the main reason for this review is that it has some of the friendliest bouncers I've ever met. Went during fresher's. The one that seemed to be in charge was friendly while also taking his job very seriously. Food didnt seem to be available when I went but it's the cleanest, least cramped we
Great food! Great vibe and great ambience!
It’s kind of what you’d expect but the tables were not cleaned very quickly after people would leave them. But apart from that it’s was good! Will probably return
Nice little place, food was good. Had cooked breakfast and was tasty.service was good too.
Argyle on tour! Visiting the Kassam stadium today. After my 3hr train journey I was hungry and gasping for endless coffee! Not the prettiest 'Spoons' I have ever been in and the service was very slow. Lots of staff not turned up. Inevitably a lot of so called Argyle fans were there but when they wer
Good value for money, excellent service. You get what you order very quickly! And you can order from the app.
Went in for breakfast. Food is cooked up and seeved pretty fast. App is a little misleading as it says drink is included with breakfast, but you actually still have to order and pay for a drink, but overall, can't whinge too much!
Huge burger ! Delicious Mac n chesse balls !! Pizza are not amazing but I put 5 stars for the price Take for 1£ all the coffee you want is so cool +alcool is very cheap best deal for student !! I totally recommend it’s good and cheap ! It’s clear that’s not a gastronomic restaurant but for this pric
Fish 9/10 Chips 10/10 Mushy Peas 9/10 Crispy batter tasted great 👍🏾
A very good english breakfast with only 7£
What can one say, it's Wetherspoons, good value food and drink, fast service and all ordered/paid for, via the App. I slightly prefer the other Wetherspoons in Oxford "Fork Handles"... Errrr, sorry I mean "Four Candles" which has a nice upstairs seating area.
Lovely place to visit even on your own. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. And the drinks are very good priced
Not to bad for a spoons the staff were OK for a change not used to it in a spoons. They were polite and the pub was clean the staff were straight out to collect plates glasses and clean tables. Shame other spoons are not the same.
Had really good service here and you cant beat those low prices. Tim Martin is still a massive eijit and wonder if he is ready to admit what an absolute travesty and tragedy Brexit is, that he and others managed to convince many to vote for.
Staff where friendly, food was nice but forgot to put bacon on my breakfast and eggs were solid.its not hard to cook an egg.
Great place If you are looking for cheap drinks and for the least conversation possible, love ordering on the app. if the tables aren't sticky then you are not getting the full experience
A good quality and modern pub in the centre of Oxford, just to the west of the regenerated Westgate shopping centre, representing a nice branch of JD Wetherspoons. Tasty food and a wide variety of drinks at great prices. Nice atmosphere and very spacious! For those who appreciate a good Wetherspoons
Hot fresh food smaller portion than other JDW units. Nice cold pint (or two) Pleasant staff
