The Grand Cafe - Oxford - Photo album

I'm no tourist in Oxford so let's not mention the prices of tea and scones😲. A lovely atmosphere full of quiet talking and music. The welcome was OK. I really enjoyed my scones with cream dripping in gold and diamonds to make the price fit. Lol. Kidding. Sunday relaxing tea and scones.. lovely. Brin
Positive experience overall. The interior design is cute. The vegan cake I ordered wasn’t really impressive but the tea was pretty good. Staff members were nice and attentive.
It was a beautiful high tea experience. The service team were friendly and helpful and the food were delicious. My favourite was the lemon posset, it was sharp and delicious at the same time.
Went twice to this beautiful cafe, Excellent service, Friendly attentive staff, Loved the food and service, Loved the classic atmosphere, everything was nice prices were reasonable for the quality and toilets were kept clean highly recommend!
Interesting to see how come this place has got such a bad review - but I suppose this place might be overpriced for Oxford locals. I am writing this as a tourist who visited from London, and I got to be honest, there was nothing to complain about. Although there was quite a bit of review complainin
Best coffee shop in Oxford. Impeccable staff. Superb Columbian coffee. Nice deserts. Retro stylish ambiance. Big glass front. Clean toilets. Good space between tables. The best place for a restful time away from the hustle and bustle of the main street.
A much looked forward to revisit did not disappoint. The java coffee is excellent. However the croissant was neither spectacular or boring, but the knob of butter was very cold and hard.
They claim to be the oldest cafe in Oxford It’s very pretty but very small. They don’t take tables larger than 5. The desserts and coffee were very good. I thought that the best thing was the Belgian waffle with ice cream and syrup. It is fairly pricey so be expected to more than usual for dessert
Even though it is a little pricey, it is nice to treat yourself now and then. I come to this cafe each time I come to Oxford. This time arriving around 10:30am for an early “elevenses” before much of the Oxford stores opened up, therefore pretty much had the pick of the tables. It is a smaller cozie
Very nice cafe for afternoon tea. Please note service charge is included.
Lovely charming cafe. Nice experience in this the oldest cafe in England. We had cream tea and pork pie, all very tasty.
Beautifully atmosphere and very friendly servers. I really enjoyed the afternoon tea as well, the scones and clotted cream were perfect, the desserts weren’t to my taste but by no means were they unpleasant. Overall, I would recommend.
