Bit of a gem in Cowley this. The garden/courtyard is tropical and you could kid yourself that you are in Mexico or somewhere exotic. Lots of character and loved coming here.
Wide space, good music, friendly staff, an extensive drinks menu with lots of deals and offers! I like coming here.
LOVE this place. The atmosphere and interiors and full of warmth and character. It's friendly and well priced. When it's sunny they open the large shutter windows which is lovely. They have live music and cocktails too. Great for cosy drinks but have never eaten here.

Great venue for events. Some of the info on the website doesn't match some of their promotions so might be worth double checking before booking. But other than that, amazing atmosphere, great cocktails and friendly bar staff.
Traditionally a place to get drinks for which it would be 4/5 - very cozy and pleasant but some items a little pricey.
Recently, they started opening early and doing brunches which made them THE place in town to have a coffee+breakfast and work a bit. The serve outstanding coffee that in my opinion beats The Truck Store and The Bear and the Bean (!), they have good wi-fi, and the place isn't busy.
I invited my friends out here for my birthday. The staff were very co-operative and kind, preparing everything for us. We all had a very good time and I highly recommend it, for the tasty food, staff and atmosphere!
Noisy Friday night birthday cocktails - the place was packed. The lighting is dim (moody?) and the décor attempts to be reminiscent of something middle eastern. The bar staff vary in their competence - I was served by one very good person and then a very poor one who stumbled over the making over the same drink - before then needing my guidance in how to make it. As a result, I almost comically chased the first barman round the bar to get served by him.
Interesting decor with British/Spanish/Middle Eastern fusion cookery. Midway between pub and restaurant.
Cool place. Great for after work drinks, but I noticed they also do a free toddlers group which is lovely. Cocktails are very good and the staff are really nice.

Very good atmosphere. Cocktails are pricey, but very good. I have been here many times and would definitely recommend it if you haven’t been here before.
