The Grapes - Oxford - Photo album

Recently reopened after a long hiatus, 6 ales a couple of ciders, and 30 + craft taps, you really are spoilt for choice here, more contemporary than before. Gone is the bench seating, and replaced with high stools. Hate high chairs in pubs, stools though, that's cost you a ⭐, nobody feels comfortab
Great bar with 8 hand pull and 30 taps of ale, cider and lager. Nice old pub with nice decor in suiting with the pub facade.
Lovely pub with a real local vibe despite being right in the centre of Oxford! A great amount of options from staple beers like Moretti, Guinness and Amstel contrasted with an array of craft beers and ciders. The Fruju is definitely recommended for fruity IPA enjoyers. The bartender was lovely and l
Another re-discovered gem. I remember this being the old West Berkshire Brewery pub back in the day. It was good then, now it’s stepped up a level. Great selection of drinks, the food looks amazing (annoyingly already eaten!) and the chap behind the bar (on his own!) smashed it. 👍🏻Knowledgeable and
If you like a big range of cask and keg craft beers, this is the place for you! A beautiful long bar topped with a great range of cask and top taps, with an impressive row of at least 30 taps adorning the tiles on the back wall. Beers for every taste including sours, stouts and double IPAs. There's
Great to see this old pub reopened after such a long time
Really friendly staff who helped us plan for the half marathon, delicious food and they gave me a Bao bun to try for free. The whole pub had a lovely atmosphere. We will be back!
Nice pub with good selection of beers and snacks. Seating at small tables or in cubicles. Order food at the bar. Menu is compact and food quality is good, servings are European sized and staff is friendly. Music on the Thursday evening was 80's soft rock. Nice relaxed place.
Popped in on their reopening weekend. Tried some of the taster plates they put out. Chicken wings were amazing. Massive variety of quality draft products, definitely spoilt for choice. Staff are friendly, chatty and knowagleable. Will definitely be returning..
Great pub lots of nice people and great music
Visited here on re-opening night in July, very good beer selection and the manager and staff were very friendly. One of the top places in Oxford to have a drink.
Update: Apr 2019. Reopened. Good selection of beers from their own brewery, guests, local beers and, one of my favourites Mena Dhu. Refurbishment is in keeping and had brought back booth dividers. So far so very good... Great, changing selection, range of beers. Friendly atmosphere.
Great drinks selection since relaunch. Knowledgable staff and lovely atmosphere. A real diverse craft beer pub that Oxford was missing.
Saturday night was rocking. Great music, great sing along, decent beer. Atmosphere was electric.
Wow!! Loads of great beers … great music on the turntable !! Great boozer!! Lovely staff !!
Really nice pub. Great beer selection and good food.
We've been coming here for a while, enjoy the atmosphere and the range of beers. The pizza is an added bonus. Beers from Siren, XT, Wild Weather on tap, large selection of cans in the fridge. For me, a non craft drinker there is always a decent lager, Sagres, Kosel and Mahou have all been on tap.
Nice selection of English beers and lagers, although a little bit pricey. We went just before the theatres were finished and it was easy to find a seat and table. But, as soon as the theatres finish the pub becomes packed, so be prepared!
Best pub in Oxford! People should definitely pop in The Grapes to get a taste of great beers and drinks! The best experience with the best personnel in town! Young people with lots of kindness and fin to share with customers!
