Wonderful delicious fresh meal. Best chops! Crab aranchini delicious. Fantastic. New management, friendly and lovely. , recurb scheduled for October 2023 and lovely to see local support. Will be back.
Arriving at the pub, I was really hungry. Leaving I was not. A huge serving of fish&chips (I did order extra chips) made a difference. The chips were really good. The fish was fresh and a very rich serving. But partly because of a very generous battering, which was slightly overcooked to my taste. A
The strongest recommendation that I could ever offer! I booked two weeks ago to reserve a table for six, unfortunately one of us couldn't make the reservation and I can tell you that they definitely missed out on the best Sunday lunch going! I've spent more on Sunday lunch in the past but this is h
Came here last night with the boy. He had fish and chips, I had mushroom linguine. They were both really good. Fish and chips really well cooked, the linguine were packed with lots of different varieties of mushrooms; everything extremely tasty. Service was great. The decor is a bit austere, bu
Lovely lunch on a quiet, lazy Sunday. The place was bustling but not too crowded. So it was possible to have a conversation without raising your voice. Service is decent and the place is kid and pet friendly.
Went there for the opening, staff are committed to the place and very friendly! Well worth the walk from the river, cant reccomend enough. Excited to see what food they offer, zero on that as its only crisps atm
Three of us enjoyed roast chicken dinner and a roast lamb dinner for Sunday lunch today. The Six X beer was apparently excellent as was the non-alcohokic Fentiman's zero sugar ginger beer. The food came ready plated, with cooked beetroot, parsnip, carrots and crispy roast potatoes, with a deliciou
I love this pub so was so happy to be able to stop here again for a delicious halloumi salad and a glass of wine on the first weekend of pubs being open again. Friendly and welcoming staff, felt peaceful and relaxing.
We walked along the river to Iffley. We stopped at the pub for a pint. It was quite nice, inside seating, garden seating and seating at the front. Very friendly service.
Love this pub. Five minute walk from the river. Great atmosphere, lovely friendly service.
Friendly stuff. yummy and sweet food. lovely service.
Walked across Ifley lock and came across this little gem. Had a range of beers, lots of outside space, and lovely staff who made us and our dog very welcome. Definitely come back again to try out the food.
Wonderful lunch and vino in gorgeous garden. Great service and whole pub looked lovely - highly reccomend
Nice pub with fun quiz night. Good food but tad expensive. Very well presented bar with friendly staff.
Recently reopened pub. Looks very smart. Well-kept and reasonably priced Wadworth 6X.
This is a 'proper' pub. They had 3 Wadsworth beers on tap (usually 4 from the looks of things) and the usual selection of lagers ciders and a well known stout. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The baskets (scampi or whitebait) were good value at less than a tenner. The staff were friendly and
