Office Christmas meal here for second year running. Amazing quality for the price they charge. Really good at catering for special dietary requirements (I am Coeliac).

I was invited to try the Waterside Restaurant by a friend of mine. We went on Thursday 17 October 2013 at 7 PM. I was not sure what to expect as this restaurant is a training environment for the students of the college. I was assured by my friend that we were going to have a nice evening. I was greeted at the door of the restaurant and waited for my friend to arrive. We were ushered into the restaurant. A nice atmosphere and Frank Sinatra was playing in the back ground. We had drinks to start with I opted for a nice Portuguese red wine and my friend the White. We had red for meal. For a starter I had the Chicken terrine, tomato chutney which was excellent. We did have the home made bread and butter it was I have to say so nice we had 2 portions! For mains Leeks, cheese & pine nut strudel in a mushroom cream sauce and fro desert fig, fresh poached) roasted yogurt sorbet. We did have Irish coffee also which was a nice finishing touch to a most excellent dinner and a great experience. All the staff were very professional. Yes there were one or to training issues, which were dealt with straight away. The prices are very reasonable. We had a very nice evening and I would like to thank all the staff who looked after us.
