A quick Google identified this quaint little shop in the covered market. Cosy is the word.
They offer a selection of classic Korean dishes. Each one has a distinctly homecooked flavour that just reminds us of our time in Korea.
The kimchi jjigae is a great bit of comfort food and the little set me
This is not real 순두부 찌개. I'm afraid that non-Koreans believe this as Korean food. At least it needs more vegetables. There was only 1/4 piece of a layer of an onion. It tastes like just Korean instant ramen paste.
Since I had only 순두부찌개 from here, I have no idea about other menu. Maybe other food wo
The food here was tasty however I wasn’t a fan of the rice (a bit tasteless). Everything else however was good. The service was a bit slow as we came at peak lunch time period. Reasonable prices.
Absolutely delicious and well presented food. Friendly staff too. Highly recommended for a yummy lunch.
Been to Jeong’s several times. Staff were all very friendly. The portion and prices were alright - nothing too pricey. The small space makes it feel very homey, like you’re in a local neighbourhood Korean eatery, rather than a modern chic chain restaurant. Food came quick even though it was quite a
Tasty and affordable Korean food, tucked away in the Oxford Covered Market.
Cute decor and friendly staff, with good vegan/vegetarian options to top it all off.
Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat!
My wife (Korean) and I went here separately, and we both love it. By far, this is the best Korean food you can get in Oxford. Authentic flavors and a great price.
I personally recommend the 닭갈비 도시락 (dagalbi dosirak) if you like things a little spicy. The 김밥 (kimbap) is also great.
I'll be going he
Authentic Korean flavours in a nice and cozy cafe, inside the historical Central Market. Really cheap and fresh and healthy food.
Definitely recommended to eat in or to take away one of their nice lunch boxes!
Great good, staff and atmosphere. Same taste experience I had whilst was out in korea. Quite a big menu aswell for a small cafe. All the standards you'd expect of traditional Korean food, Kimbab, bimibap, spicy pork and tofu stew and the rest!! Must try!
Love the Korean food there. Fair price and large potion . Small space and can be very crowded sometime . The best is the lunch box with Chill crispy chicken ! Will visit again.
Had a Yangnyum chicken bibimbap today and it was delicious! Portion size was just right to fill you up without getting too bloated. Kun Mandu was a bit pricey for 4 but tasted great. Staff were friendly and decorations are cute.
Nice, inexpensive food. Portion for the stew is a bit small, but it was very tasty!
This will be my go-to place for Korean food in Oxford!
The Pork Kimchi Jjigae was great only thing is the portion sizes are small compared to the prices ( recommend going Dotori in London for Korean/Japanese menu much better value)
I went with my family recently and It was such a lovely lunch. The food was really tasty, the place very cosy and the staff very nice and attentive. We'll definitely go again!
My daughter had a chicken lunchbox and I had vegetable bibimbap. We were both so happy. Food is delicious!!
Genuine Korean fast food menu and seating. It tastes good. It is the only genuine Korean restaurant in town that I know of.
