Flavour of the food was fantastic, very creative use of ingredients! Several dishes on the vegetarian menu intrigued me so I will definitely revisit! We were recommended the fish and chips. Its really well done, but not exceptional, so I would give that a miss given the other options on the menu. Not going to fault the service though I felt a bit patronised, so still 5 stars for the quality of the food.
We came here as a group of three. Having originally booked the pods, given the weather we were thankful to be moved inside! Very friendly waitresses and waiters. The food was exquisite. It's excellent quality, very tasty, and makes the dining experience all the more memorable. Can highly recommend the souffle, the venison burger, the sea bass and the desserts. Nice and clean and well organised inside too.
Lovely pub with a delicious Sunday roast. I especially liked the beef and the cauliflower cheese. The bread was a disappointment and so was the cheese soufflé. Service is inattentive and a bit slow.
Baz and his team have worked very hard to provide a safe and tasty dining experience. The food is delicious, with excellent vegetarian options easily available. Lovely wine. Wonderful atmosphere and the pods are beautiful, it felt like we were in the south of France for a magnificent dinner.
Nice cycling distance with kids. Pub was also very nice but unfortunately the Argentinian BBQ want that good. No food for the kids (no chips) and overpriced. Taste of food was ok.
Beautiful Oxfordshire pub serving excellent Sunday roasts. The roast pork was particularly tender and delicious, and went well with the Wadworth 6X ale. You can also walk around this small, quaint village after your meal.
Fabulous. Having seen a special posted on Facebook I knew I had to go and suss The White Hart of Wytham out for myself and now, have found possibly my favourite pub in Oxfordshire.
Imaginative, beautifully plated food. Vibrant colours, fantastic produce, great pricing and something to suit all. Neither of us are vegans but we're impressed with the vegan menu and tried a few options from there also!
Favourite country pub in Oxfordshire. Open fireplaces, comfortable chairs and dining chairs. Consistently very good food, with a good value Sunday roast (approx £19 for meat, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and assorted veg dishes).
The most delicious Sunday roast I’ve had in ages, the lamb was melt in the mouth delicious. The outdoor space and socially distanced pods are great. Staff are very welcoming too.
A delicious experience in every possible way: the beautiful surroundings, the attentive staff, the fabulous pianist. Oh, and the food was amazing too! I can't find a single fault with The White Hart of Wytham. Thanks to everybody who has evidently worked so hard to make this establishment Covid-safe in the most elegant and welcoming way.
