The Red Lion - Oxford - Photo album

The Red Lion is a really great place we have stayed twice in our camper in the ground at the rear of the pub, The process is so easy and we happily spend money in the bar on food and drink. It is a great base for Oxford and we have family in Marston who all come in for a meal. The food is good the b
Great place to visit for food and the Guinness is amazing at great prices.. we went for 1 night in a motor home and ended up 2 Nights... I loved it. Absolutely wonderful. The pub is the only one in the vicinity. It has an old world charm about it. It's quiet- you can actually have a conversation. The music is great. Lovely space. Indoor and outdoor seating. The 14 bus passes right in front of the pub, so easy to reach. There's a car
Nice place to stay for a night. There's a place to stay with your vehicle and your recreation vehicle too. They won't charge you money for your stay, instead, you can have a drink, coffee or even have lunch. The pub is open till 12.00. You can go to Oxford directly from there with the X3 bus. Not fa
My husband had the fish n’ chips and an IPA, everything was cooked well and tasted great. I had this delicious curry that was a bit of a surprise, but very welcome after jet lag/travel and a cold, rainy day. It was spiced well, not over spicy and well-balanced. Very tasty meal in a relaxed and invit
Lovely pub with a really friendly welcome. Delicious food and portions are huge. Good choice of drinks including real ales. This pub welcomes motorhome homes to stay over on their large car park which is free if you have a meal. Perfect location for a visit to Oxford. Book in advance for both food a
Just dropped in for a quick drink when passing on a warm afternoon. The Wadsworth 6X was in fine condition. Good selection of gins too. We didn't eat (too late in the afternoon) but the menu looked to be a good range of standard pub grub. Next time, perhaps.
Good food. I had a pizza and it was tasty and fairly substantial for the price. Plenty of beers to choose from. Good landlord and staff.
I'm converted after the best sticky toffee pudding and Abbot Ale. Watched tennis. Chilled. Nice atmosphere. Lovely service.
Great pub and site for our motorhome, unfortunately stated on website food on a Sunday night but no food available when we stayed it was on father's Day so probably been very busy at lunch time.
Great pub with a large beer garden. Great choice of Real ales. Here for football. Excellent away supporters pub but needs more staff on to keep up with demand.
I live around the corner from here but have only recently starting going in with my pup Akita Tula. Every time the service has been absolutely outstanding and the food quality, delivery time and availability has been beyond great. Darts inside, Ping Pong table out the back with a lovely garden that
Oh my goodness, the pub is beautiful inside and out, the food is extraordinary, if I could give 10 star review I would. DO NOT HESITATE to spend some time here, the landlord and staff are second to none. Well done and thank you to you all for making my experience memorable for all the right reaso
Friendly service, great staff and an absolutely top notch roast dinner which will keep me full for the next few days!
Be warned the portion sizes are large. You will not go hungry at this establishment. Wife took out a doggy bag. Lovely home cooked roast with amazing vegetables that were perfectly cooked. Not overcooked and still crunchy packed with flavour. Best roast I've had in ages (not counting wife's)
Very friendly, nice location scrumptious food and free overnight camper parking. Perfect location.
The food has consistently been good whenever we eat here and the staff are always friendly.
