Only the second time I have been to a Zizzi. One in London a week ago and the Oxford location yesterday. Food and service is very good. Love their pizza. Would recommend them for sure :)
Tasty food. Excellent service. A great menu with lots of choice. Convenient after a day wandering around Oxford seeing all its delights.
Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff who helped me and my husband yesterday evening around 7pm when I suddenly became unwell (unrelated to visit). Prior to this escapade, we had a wonderful meal and have always loved visiting, so thank you! ��
Went for dinner with a friend. Staff were polite and attentive. I had the prawn and salmon skewer, it was delicious and filling. Managed to save a bit of space for the banana & chocolate calzone for dessert, very nice. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed, but we didn't have any waits for our meals or drinks. It was my first visit to Zizzi's and I would definitely go again.

Saw a lot of negative reviews about the service and the staff about this place but I have had a great experience. They were all lovely people. We were a big group, and they were very patient about taking our orders and splitting individual bills one by one.
The food was great. I tried slices from a few different pizzas, most of them were great! They have a good selection of drinks and I liked their tiramisu!
This was the best Zizzi I've been to & the whole experience was marvellous. The Quality of the Food & Service was exceptionally great & enjoyed the whole evening. The inside is spacious & spread over 3 Levels with the Toilets being downstairs. A really great Zizzi in a great place of course. Oxford.
Our first time at Zizzi Oxford and it was very nice staff were friendly and helpful and service was quick drink came very quickly and our main meal came very quickly too we both went for pizza and they where both hot and very tasty indeed we managed to have room for dessert as well I jad the lemon swirl cheesecake.and my daughter had the tiramso both were very tasty too overall very nice
We had a great dinner! Food was amazing, and even though it was busy, we were served quickly. We made a lot of modifications to our food, but Frederica was patient and helped us swap different items. Would definitely recommend!
The second time I went in here on the off chance there was a table, greeted by the same friendly waitress (dark hair) she was very accommodating (as was all of the staff). Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere and was made to feel super special. Cocktails were also very good. It’s my new fave place and I will be back ! I don’t usually do reviews but honestly I had to, as I really felt like this was more of a family run restaurant vibe than the chain it really is. Well done Oxford! Keep being brilliant.
Incredible ambience, great service and equally amazing food.
We ordered Pizza Piccante and Primavera, and slow-cooked lamb rigatoni. All of them were absolutely amazing - especially the Rigatoni. The service was great and they gave us complimentary Pasta crisps.
The staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Overall, a great experience. Must recommend for a good Italian food.
A large restaurant within the Oxford city centre & close to the theatres etc. Went early afternoon and it was virtually empty so service was quick. There was an issue with the bill (due to a misunderstanding) but it was sorted very fairly by the duty manager.
I’ve had butternut squash salad with goat cheese and king prawns. Fancy presentation! The ingredients they use are very good quality, I liked the fact that they have lots of vegetarian and vegan (V) options. They have deals too! I have to try pizza next time!
Had the Christmas-Menu twice (3 courses for 22,50£). Starter was amazing. Main course (pizza for me) had the ingredients distributed unevenly, but that's really minor, look and taste was fantastic. Dessert was not to my liking, the coke was less sweet than that and that is simply "too sweet" for a German.
Fifth star is deducted because once the place filled up, service became a mess and we where barely noticed at all.
Pro Tip: Order the Cocacino for Kids. Adds 0£ to the bill but forces them to come to your table.
It was my first time, and really enjoyed it. The ambiance is great, the staff were friendly and welcoming. They also brought complimentary snack before we ordered. Will definitely go back.
We love Zizzi’s menu. Enjoyed the lunch. Calamari were not as good as we had at other Zizzi branches. There was an extra charge on the bill of £6 which I almost didn’t notice as we ordered a lot but one of us noticed it so had it sorted.
Food was okay. Not for everyone's taste. We had garlic bread with mozzarella and mushroom brindisi for starters. And the main course was rustica pepperoni campagna and tagliatelle short rib.
I expected this to be like another Italian chain but was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent quality for a high street family friendly restaurant plus there was plenty of choice. Worth the cost though a little busy.
I have eating out at Zizzi's many times and it is definitely one of my top places to eat at. Weekend away in Oxford, Saw there was a zizzis close so booked in and I am glad I did. Have never had an issue with the food, staff or the service, always been great. The menu is great, ranging from pastas to great pizzas & calzones. Salads for the healthy people. Lots of starters to chose from. Also have a meat & fish main menu. For starters I always order the garlic bread with caramelised onions as it tastes so dam good. Calzone for main. Cooked perfectly and once again tasted amazing but alot more filling than I have had in bedford which was great. Had the tiramisu for dessert and this really is one of the best tasting tiramisus i have had. Can not remember the waiters name but he was such a lovely guy. Will visit again.
This place was actually quite a treat. In England and having Italian is not something we would normally die but we were glad we did we got the pizza and it was being delicious.
The service was really good.
No service charge! That makes any restaurant great in my eyes. Great meal, Hot Salmon & Prawns Pasta with Carbonara Sauce for two Exceptional waitress service. Highly recommended.
