Hot hot day in oxford, the only place in oxford that has air conditioning, heard the scones was great, and it really was. Scones were warm throughout, crumbly yet dense, cream was served spreadable but jam unusually too pink for me, but still nice. Gotten the cinnamon swirl as well, loaded with sugars and cinnamon, very well spreaded, served warm and slightly crunchy.

I've been eager to visit this cafe after hearing so many positive reviews, and I can confidently say that it surpassed all my expectations. The scone I had there was truly exceptional, one of the best I've ever had in the UK. Served warm, it came accompanied by delightful clotted cream and strawberry jam. The aroma of butter still lingered, creating an irresistible sensory experience. I’ll definitely go back to try other menus!

Lovely cafe, my first time having cream tea while on a visit from Canada. It was very lovely, scones and sweets were excellent.

WOW! I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of amazing food on the menu but after some time deciding I went for the Afternoon Tea. It looked amazing and tasted even better. I went for their signature Rose Oxford tea, which smelled amazing and tasted even better. Definitely will be coming again, thank you to all the friendly staff for being patient and charming.

The sparkling tea was delicious! The sandwiches were fresh, the scone was warm, the jam was perfectly sweet, and the coffee cake was so flavorful. Do not miss this place!

Nice, cute little place. Great location. I really liked the hot chocolate and coffee cake. Very quick service. I wouldn't say it's very cheap, but pretty decent prices. The person I was meeting was running a little late, so I had to wait for a while before ordering. The staff were very polite and happily let me wait for half an hour before ordering.

Lovely little Café with friendly staff and a delicious afternoon tea. The house blend tea is a very delicious choice you need to try. Definitely my first place to go to when I'm coming back to Oxford.

The Rose is a cozy and welcoming spot located in the heart high street of Oxford. The food menu at The Rose is freshly prepared and delicious with plenty to choose from. Their coffee is rich and flavorful. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy. Whether you're in a rush or have time to sit and chat, they always make you feel welcome and valued. Overall, I highly recommend The Rose for anyone looking for a cozy spot to grab a cup of coffee or a quick bite to eat. The quality of the food and drinks, combined with the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere, make it a standout option in the Oxford area.

Great tea, and some gluten free options. No gf scones, but they were happy to remove bread from various things on the menu.

Simply the best scones my wife and I have ever experienced. Freshly baked and still warm, we tell everyone about this place for scones! They had a huge selection of teas available as well.

Great afternoon Cream Tea. The Assam tea and the Lady Earl Grey was a nice touch. The scones were fresh and light and the clotted cream was delish.
