The Crown Oxford - Oxford - Photo album

Didn't expect to find a pub like this in the centre of Oxford! Tucked away and easy to miss, it's well worth finding if you enjoy good beer, superb traditional pub food, excellent service, and decent prices! Have never had a better ham, egg and chips meal! Only discovered it by chance, but will defi
On any day of the week pop into, "The Crown" and enjoy a pint or two. My son and I did just that. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We shared desserts and it was delicious. The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly.
Staff were great, we booked a table for 7 via the online booking as we know it can get busy here. We were a little early but it wasn’t a problem to get a drink and wait 10 mins for our table to be readied for us. Ordering was simple and the food was very tasty. All 7 of us were happy with our food.
Hidden treasure! Superb traditional pub tucked away but in the centre of Oxford. Great atmosphere, choice of good ales, and superb pub grub at sensible prices. Wish I'd found it on previous visits to Oxford!
Great food served by friendly staff in a traditional and atmospheric English pub. The menu is clearly very popular here. The lamb shank Shepherds pie, the slow cooked rib and brisket pie and the fish pie were all completely sold out before 7.00pm on a Saturday evening! Very expensive drinks which
Lovely tudor style pub, great atmosphere, good selection of ales and very efficient staff who work their socks off. Had chicken Sunday roast which was excellent and everything cooked to perfection despite the pub being very busy. Highly recommended! Next time I'm in Oxford I'll be back there without
Nice atmosphere, but 2menu I ordered were not available…beer selections are fine, though it is better to have IPA.
Fun place in the centre of Oxford. Prices are nice we haven’t tried any food is there, but there was okay. The place on its self looks really cool. It’s clean inside. fun Decorations and lots of space
This is a nice pub in the downtown area of Oxford offering decent food and drinks.
The best place to be on Cornmarket Street! Everything you might want from a hidden old city centre pub: great atmosphere, welcoming staff, superb selection of beer and drinks. The Camden Pale is a delight
Delicious fish and chips, chicken salad was also great. the baked Mac and cheese stole my son's heart
Really nice pub and lovely staff! There's a very young waitress who is working so hard still she's always smiling and ready to help and the guys from the bar were really helpful as well. I hate mushy peas with my fish and chips but they didn't had an issue change it with garden peas and everyone wa
Great pub food, especially the Pies and Chicken Schnitzel
Great choice of beers and ales staff are very friendly. Only annoying thing a group of students came and sat down taking up the whole table not buying anything and people was walking back out thinking it was full that's money lost that could of gone in the till . Told a member of staff they wasn't
I’m glad I stumbled across this place! Since my favorite food is mac & cheese, I had the Smoked Applewood Macaroni Cheese and it was so good. The cheese was very gooey with some delicate crispiness added to it. I would have to say that it was the fanciest mac & cheese I ever had in my life, and it w
The atmosphere in the pub is very good! The food is also very delicious! If you come to Oxford, you'll want to stop by again. The staff is also polite and impressive.
The lunchtime food was superb. The outside seating, in what is little more than a courtyard, was comfortable and pleasant, and of course the place is right in the middle of town. Great service from the staff. Recommended.
