Great meal for Pongal celebrations. Definite return custom. Extensive menu to explore, big vegetarian selection, and authenticity of South Indian food. Plus great friendly service, lovely staff. Recommended.
Not your average curry house. It is my favourite India place to eat, nothing too fancy, but honest, wholesome food. Veg samosas to die for...
Awesome food .such a nice quality dosa in london..
Love this place. Food is delicious and usually served very fast.
Indian cuisine naming Dosa.
Traditional indian Dal and Crispy roti, the dish of common people.
We tasted india at Oxford , UK.
Tasty and unique totally different from english ones.
Wish to visit again and again.
Well worth a visit..Lovely food..!!......
Tharamana sapadu tharamana service . Meendum meendum poga thoondum unvagam
Very typical South Indian. Amazing food! Lovely people!
Food taste that I had was average but the service and atmosphere was good. I wouldn’t order the gobi Manchurian again however I did like their kothu paratha and dosa . Filter coffee was good too. I was craving for vada but they said they ran out of vada around 5pm already .
The staff were friendly also the service was pretty quick . Also found the restaurant busy which is a good sign . Overall 4/5 .
Dosa was okay. I got better dosa once I asked them to make it more crispy but more filling. Sambar tasted really good,so did the coconut chutney.
Chicken Biryani was also nice and spicy.
Gobi Munjurian( not Munchirian hahah ) was the best.
Milkshake maynot be a great option
Tasty South Indian food. Dosa has a good reputation and for good reason!
The prices are reasonable, if not on the tad expensive side. The place does get particularly busy, so staff are good but often juggling a lot to be attentive -- but restaurants are not always about the service.
The portion sizes are alright - packed full of flavour and authentic.
One of the best dosa . Scrumptious ❤️..It's been a long time since I had an Indian food which resembles almost the same taste as that of Indian cuisine . Dosa park did 💯 to bring the flavours .The name of the shop is perfect as it does complete justice with the food . I'm impressed by the hospitality ,though the only suggestion is to maximize the space and seating !!.
It's the best Indian food I have had for a little while. The food was authentic and great, reminds me of my time enjoying Indian food in Malaysia. The price is affordable. Definitely recommend this!
A nice South Indian restaurant located in city centre. I had chilli paneer and as the pic suggest was spicy and tasty. Masala dosa was good and chutneys were fresh. Can’t finish without filter coffee. Served in traditional way and genuine flavour. Visit for quick snack around or meal.
Vietnamese opinions 😍
I think the food is quite good. Gentle favourite not same with my imagination. 😆
I love Dosa (chicken with masala potato) 8.5/10. The curry sauce is 8/10 spicy and the sambar sauce is 6/10 spicy level. 😋 Chicken Kothu Served with Raitha 9/10.
Good service 5/5 🌟
Fun for trying something new one day. 🥰
A place with really nice food. They helped me get my wheelchair up the lip at the door. Indian people eat here which is probably the best recommendation! The restaurant is unfancy.
Food is really nice. Lots of options that you don't get in other places. Very expertly cooked.
This is not an autistic friendly place. Due to the sheer popularity of this restaurant I started out okay but had to wear both ear plugs and ear defenders by 6:50pm. However, the lighting is more autistic friendly than most as they use lightbulbs with wicker basket shades. So it's not totally overwhelming.
The Kulfi Milkshake is to die for.
I’ve been there only once and ordered quite a few times! The biryani is to absolutely die for! The amount of food comas I went through for the same biryani! It’s the absolute best! The exact way an authentic Indian version of the biryani should taste like.
Big ups!
10/10
If you are a south Indian, you will love this place. You'll find Idly, vada, Dosa varieties, biryani, Indian chai, kapi (coffee) and other dishes. The restaurant is on the west entrance to the city, close to the railway station. The place can get crowded during rush hours, but there are tables outside aswell.
We have been here a couple of times before. On this occasion I went there about 2pm on a saturday afternoon for lunch as I was driving through Oxford. It was a good place to go as I was able to park my car at the very nearby Railway station parking which offers parking for a full day for about £4. Dosa Park is cafe style in its decor and ambience. Typically for a place like this, it attracts mostly students and asian tourists who are perhaps missing home cooked food. It was easy to get a table and the service is fairly quick. They have an extensive menu.
The Idli sambhar I ordered was good except I found the sambhar too hot (taste wise) which is maybe a personal thing. The other two condiments or chutneys were flavoursome. The Idlis were steaming hot when they arrived but they seemed quite hard. They may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave. Still, they were ok. Reasonably priced. Great selection for vegetarians. May stop by here again if in the area. Enjoy!
Food was nice and filling and very large portions. It's a small space but we got seats straight away.
Was gonna take photos of the food but was too excited to eat, so here is the aftermath.
I cannot stress enough this is easily the best Resturant at oxford. I go here once a week minimum. The masala dosa and chilli paneer are absoutely phonomenal.
Eat here!
