I walk by this place almost every day, finally I decided to give it a go. BEST decision ever. The place is beautiful, very cosy, the perfect place for a quiet meal. I chose the fish and chips, and OMG best fish and chips that I ever ate in my life. The fish was so fresh, the batter was perfect, very light and really well seasoned (people know I'm very picky with my fish). The rhubarb crumble was another surprise, just perfect. I was so amazed with the food that I forgot to take some pictures :)
Gorgeous food, great drinks range, delicious gluten free options and wonderful staff. The fact that it supports a great cause its the cherry on an amazing cake !

I took my grandmother here for a belated bday lunch and we had such a fabulous couple of hours . We could not fault the service or fabulous food. This place is a true Oxford gem .
Delicious food and charming, thoughtful staff. A comfortable place to dine alone
Dropped in as I was passing on a wet Oxford morning. Friendly staff and a perfect bacon sandwich cooked exactly as I liked . Great start to the day !
Lovely place with gorgeous people! Oh and the food is pretty good too!
Great local produce used imaginatively in a short, delicious menu. Lovely informal atmosphere. Delightful staff. Can be a bit noisy when busy, which it usually is. Book.
Excellent food and service despite others experiencing otherwise.
A while ago, I had the best Sunday roast ever. Hyper delicious! Highly recommended.
We had a TSK English breakfast and smoked salmon with poached eggs and they were great. Very welcoming and friendly staff.
Big serving of coffee was good too.
I like heading to Oxford for a day out; it’s not too far away and there are plenty of good places to eat and drink. I don’t know it terribly well so always tend to head to the areas I know rather than spending the day seeking out somewhere new. I recently used Quandoo for the first time to find somewhere to eat in Oxford; there were so many places I hadn’t heard of it was a bit of a job to choose where to go! Turl Street Kitchen sounded like my kind of food so I booked it online and went the next day.
This very urban restaurant brings back the fore very traditional English meals, bit with a dash of modernity. I didn't really enjoy the food personally (as it was completely new), but I am willing to give it another shot.
It's a space to meet for a quick bite between lectures or to come and just relax in whilst reading for pleasure.
Good simple food. Well sourced, reasonable. A good addition to the fairly limited Oxford food scene.
This place is great! Friendly service, plenty of tables and the food is delicious! You can tell they use good produce. The chicken dish came with stock so delicious we ordered extra bread to soak up all the juices.
Clearly a popular place in Oxford for lunch! Service was attentive even though there was a mix up with our drink order.
Wish there was a bit more variety in the menu. Ordered the "Cauliflower Bake" and was pleasantly surprised. Full of flavour!
Great food. Great location. Friendly staff. In particular, kudos to the CHEF. The food is prepared and cooked to PERFECTION. Comes out piping hot. Will definitely come back again.
I loved this place, our breakfast was incredible and the staff was so nice and zen. Thank you it was perfect
Decent cafe that also provides guest house accommodation, and exhibition space. It's located very centrally in Oxford, in the heart of the colleges, and museums. Inside there is a long bar and there is table service with plenty of seats although a good tip is that if you have a buggy or are in a wheelchair then if you go through the door on your immediate left you enter the ground floor room that looks out onto the street. Otherwise you'd have to go up a few steps and then either turn right or left and round the corner to find seats. The breakfast menu serves sausage or bacon baps, full English, poached eggs, and other staples. Coffee is OK, there are better places nearby. They also do Sunday roasts and evening meals. Recommended.
Great value for money in terms of portions of food and nice soft centre poached eggs that burst on the crisp brioche. Excellent service as staff also gave a hand drawn map for directions . Highly recommended!
As a coffee shop the price, presentation and service was superb. Just off the high street for a more relaxing experience. Can be busy with students but understand once you try their coffee.
An excellent coffee service and place to work. At lunchtime it gets rather busy, but they try to accommodate people in different sections to help with that.
A nice, dainty cafe/restaurant with a cozy feel. The food was fresh and delicious. The hake fishcake was superb.
Wonderful Bistro in the centre of Oxford, plenty to choose from and Gluten Free friendly
Wonderful place. Love the quirky decor with large wooden dining tables and mismatched chairs. Visited for lunch and managed to get a table in the restaurant without a reservation. Chose the chicken burger with chips which was good. Portion size was very big. Staff were friendly and attentive when topping up bottles of water
Good food, nice setting, pretty quick service, little pricey, constantly changing menu.
I've been here a few tines and the food has been good every time. The location is great. The service has always been quick and friendly. The style of food is a good mix of classical, modern and local. The options on the menu are usually good, if limited for vegetarians.
The problem can be the changing menu. If you book a table for Sunday afternoon, you have no idea what's going to be available. I don't really like this as I quite like to plan ahead.
It's a little bit pricey, but the food is good and money goes to student services so can't complain.
Nice gastropub for lunch, great food but on the expensive side.
AMAZING. This restaurant has great food, so many fun patios and decks. The seating spots are all over and can accommodate groups of various sizes. My family and I had a lovely breakfast with toast and soft-boiled eggs on a patio watching the sunrise. One of the highlights of our trip.
