Amazing food, made from high quality products and a passion of an artisan. I couldn't recommend this place more...

Wonderful food displayed at the Thame Food Festival - have enjoyed the pistachio chocolate brownies and various flavours of macaroons! Both a delight!!!!

Pastry heaven! I ordered a vanilla caramel cruffin and a chocolate eclair, both were very well made and you could notice the quality ingredients and care taken in the preparation. Unfortunately, I don't live in Oxford, but would certainly go back if I visit the area again

Great pastries in the centre of Summertown. Got some croissant for breakfast. It’s a bit hard to order different items. I didn’t know the names of different pastries. There isn’t a menu and the staff looked very confused when I was describing which pastries I wanted to have. Maybe a menu will help!

Incredible quality patisserie!!! The staff were really lovely and we enjoyed the cakes a lot. A lot of options to choose from inside and really great to see choices from bread to pastries to chocolates! Having some student discounts could be even better but well worth visiting this beautiful gem. I wasn’t sure where the coffee beans are coming from but having some pour over coffees could be even better as well. Maybe a heater on the outside seats could be even better for winter months. Will definitely coming back to visit again :)!

Lovely boulangerie and definitely worth a visit. Coffee w really good. The ciabatta and traditional (baguette) were good as well. I visited a few minutes after opening in the morning in the hope of freshly baked pastries, but I was disappointed as the apple and pan au chocolate pastries didn't taste freshly baked. You can get freshly baked pastries from the mainstream artisan bakeries

Best bakery in Oxford indeed, no wonder it is called the pearl of Oxford. Every piece I tried is excellent, and coffee is not bad at all. Would always want a croissant or brioche from here in the morning.

Just WOW! I'm a hospitality consultant and work with many Michelin starred clients and can honestly say these are the most outstanding patisserie I've ever tasted (including Pierre Hermé and my previous favourite - the legendary Ispahan from Maison Ladurée in Paris). I used to take the train into St. James from Oxford Parkway for the cakes at Fortnum's but now there's no need. Hervé and the team - you are true artists. Your creations are the best the world and I cannot believe you are practically on our doorstep. I dropped into the shop this morning to pick up a Chausson aux Pommes for my wife and daughter, the cakes looked so good I left with three boxes! We're still making our way through the cakes this evening and just cannot believe the quality, finesse and artistry in each bite. How does this place not have a string of awards? I for one, shall be recommending you all to 'The World’s Best Pastry Chef Award' by 50 best. The world will beat a path to your door Hervé, I just hope there's still some cakes left for us when they do!

Great selection of patisserie and good coffee. Had coffee, croissant and cruffin then left with a baguette. Delicious.

Gorgeous cakes, bread, croissants, hot chocolate! And we ordered 2 cakes of 10 for a special celebration on Sunday which were stunning; everyone was very impressed because not only were they beautiful but absolutely delicious!

Real French bakery that holds its own. Expensive, but, this place is actually worth it- unlike Gail’s! It’s a great addition to the area and the bread and pastries are spot on. Well done guys.

After taking a long walk, I found this place by chance. That’s a good local bakery. I slightly remember this strawberry tart was around 3.5 pounds and caffe latte was 2.5 pounds. There’re few seats as coffee terra space.

Ordered a Piece Montée for my daughter's christening as well as little fruit tarts and it was absolutely delicious, the nougatine was for sure the best one I have ever tasted, the whole thing looked absolutely beautiful. Mes compliments au chef!

Amazing little French bakery in summer town. A real gem in Oxford. Bread is amazing and it is my go to place for treats for breakfast and nice cakes for birthday or other occasions. Love it
