The prices here are higher end so I’ve high expectations. Service is excellent from the onset. So far the coffee w/oat milk is ace. Eggs how I like them, I asked for scrambled. (This isn’t an option in most cafes.) 9am and is almost full already. (Wait, seating downstairs, no worries!)
The food was delicious, the staff are lovely and efficient. The atmosphere is like walking into a cafe in “Mama Mia.” I loved it. When you hear staff singing along you know you’re in a happy place. This establishment deserves your attention❣️
My associate’s opinion… “The breakfast was incredibly tasty. Bacon and egg waffles with maple syrup 🤤 to be honest, the price was as competitive as elsewhere if not a little cheaper than most places we’ve visited!” There you have it.
A cute little cafe in the centre of Jericho.
Very sleek interior. Love the window tables. They serve a variety of breakfast options - waffle, avocado toast, and cakes and drinks.
A great spot to hang out with friends. Will come back.
Higher prices, normal to small food sizes, but very tasty food and exceptional service. Particularly in love with the Chai latte (with oat milk) and the waffles!
A good menu and a lovely cafe
This is my second visit. I’ve returned for the New Yorker bagel with sauerkraut and salt beef. Customer service brilliant with food being brought to your table. Waiters check to make sure your satisfied. A very lovey breakfast/lunch experience. Presentation of the food was beautiful and food is tasty and Moreish
A good selection of tables downstairs and the whole cafe is very clean. Staff were incredibly quick and cleaning finished empty tables ready for the next guest. The cafe is immaculate and very well decorated. They have thier own kitchen where I believe food is cooked fresh. Very happy with my experience
One of my favorite cafés at Oxford - great, lively atmosphere; very good coffee and most of the food I've tried is well-made. Their cakes, especially the lemon blueberry, are amazing as well! Sit by the large windows if you can, especially when it's sunny out. Would definitely recommend it to anyone around the Jericho area!
Four of us ranging from a 16 year old fussy eater up to an octogenarian also a fussy eater went for brunch. The menu was well designed with enough variety to be interesting and fresh. We enjoyed four different meals. Three bagels all with different fillings and the last and possibly the best was the waffles with maple syrup, poached eggs and bacon. All were excellent. The drinks- coffee, hot chocolate, frappe, milkshake were again superb. The ambience was comfortable and relaxed. Ordering was via a QR code from the table. Whilst very efficient, I would have preferred to order from one of the friendly team that worked there. The food arrived promptly. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience, having only positive comments about the food and service. All in all we highly recommend and we look forward to visiting in the future.
Lively staff and a nice ambience for some breakfast can drinks in the morning. It was lovely to see that it was open from early in the morning. The service was great but the vegetarian breakfast was alright and felt that there were too many beans and less of other foods. Latte was quite bland and felt it will be great if we can choose some beans for our coffee instead to tailor to flavour choices. Did not have a chance to eat their cakes but they looked amazing.
The Jericho Café is one of my favourite location to go for a brunch. The café is very popular, everyone love it 😃
Personally, I need 3 combined elements to come back
somewhere :
- Friendly staff members
- Good atmosphere
- and of course tasty food
Here, you can be sure my 3 needed key points are met !
They are busy, but they know how to cope with the amount of people visiting the café.
It feels like each staff member has been given a task in the morning and they stick to it. So no one walk on each others feet ! They are always serving you with a smile, so great 👍
Thank you to each and everyone of you for bringing sunshine even on a rainy day.
Keep up the good work, you're all amazing 🤩
I had a proper English breakfast for the first time in 30 years since I left UK in 1990s! The meal was nice and it reminds me of my childhood in Nottingham.
I couldn’t have chosen anywhere better for a birthday breakfast with my family. All of us absolutely loved it - such lovely friendly service, great atmosphere and amazingly tasty, good quality food and drink.
There are lots of good cafes and restaurants around Oxford but I don’t think there are any better than this. I don’t think I’ve ever known my family enthuse so much about breakfast!
