Just wanted to have a proper cask ale in the rainy evening at proper British pub. I ordered plum porter ale which was pretty light taste IMO. The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff are friendly. Here's their latest menu.

I didn’t have food here but did pop in for a quick pint during my Oxford walkabout. This has all the classic charm and appeal that you look for in a pub. Lovely English decor with great seating. A tv to watch football or racing or whatever May be on. Great pints of beer and ale to choose from along with the calm atmosphere to relax and char or read or whatever suits you. Enjoyed this place for a respite in my day and left energized and ready to crack on!

Really nice pub, slightly off Oxford's very busy centre. Good selection of ales and very helpful staff, willing to help us figure out which we'd like better by trying some out. Nice atmosphere and relaxed music. Worth a shot if you're looking for something less crowded and noisy.

An absolutely fantastic real ale pub serving at least ten real ales on tap, all from various areas. The beer was well kept, the service very good and the ambiance and atmosphere spot on. It was the CAMRA Pub Of The Year so comes with a quality guarantee.

Very good selection of ales. The staff are wonderful. Best punt in town without doubt.. Updated 2 octobet Each Sunday for the last month I've visited for 2 pints. Fabulous it is. The staff chat away. Loads of knowledge on their fare. Always feel welcome..

Great to see some more interesting beers available in Oxford! Sours, pale ales, IPAs etc. Not leading craft breweries but not bad at all. Nice traditional pub. Not sure on prices as never bought a round!

A must visit spacious and comfortable old pub. Great atmosphere with a nice arrangement of seating. It would be nice to see some real plants in here, though it doesn't ruin the experience.

Nice pub, has well kept titanic beers! It's a proper pub, so don't ask for anything silly. Not sure they have food...

Great pub in Oxford, really good draught beers lagers and ciders on tap, a White Horse Brewery pub so always those, but a good range from craft UK brewers too, nice vibe there, not too hectic or manic. Good seating and bar staff.

We've been here three times in the last few days. The staff were really nice and gave good recommendations! We got to try a little amount of beer to see what we liked. Overall a super positive experience and great service!

A small pub tucked away off the beaten track which had welcoming feel about the place. Plenty of real ales and craft beers to choose from. Landlord was very accommodating offering tasters. The beer was very good. If visiting Oxford again would go to this pub again.

Has a range of unknown beers. It's ok for a city centre pub. Not sure if they do food.
