I recently tried the vegetable Singapore noodles at this restaurant, and they were delicious! The flavors were just right, and the portion size was perfect. What made the experience even better was the kind and attentive staff. They provided excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered Roast Duck, Nasi Lemak and Mapo Tofu with beef. All of them are delicious. Highly recommended, would come here again when we visit Oxford.
The BEST. Prawn toast was so special, nothing like the typical greasy one from a takeout, same goes for the crispy chilli beef. We loved it and will be back again and again.
Probably the best Malaysian restaurant I've ever tasted in the UK. Wan Tan Hor is highly recommended. We also had Prawn Noodle, and omggg so gooood (but not for those who cannot stand spicy food). The price is slightly expensive but you will forget about the price when you start eating because they are too delicious. The portion is big too. Food is halal except Dim Sum and ducks. Friendly staff clean restaurant, and fast service.
Delicious food. Always a treat.
The restaurant has a good range of Malaysian, Chinese and Singaporean dishes. The food is spectacular and the price is very reasonable for the quality of the food.
The food was tasty, well prepared and arrives promptly (surprisingly fast actually). Tasted authentic and would recommend the Nasi Lemak and the cereal king prawns for sure, though not so much the Malaysian satay starter; the chicken quality was not great though large portions.
Rationale for 4 stars was the inconsistent waiter services: managers appeared to be demotivated, whilst one was good the other was unprofessional (could be due to youth and only our experience).
It is slightly on the pricey side, though good portions. If you don’t mind the slightly awkward server interactions and are purely for tasty South Asian food (mainly Mainly Malaysian), this is the place for you.
Tips: ask what is Halal (if all are applicable or certain dishes) and if you have any allergy requirements (peanuts are handled in the kitchen).

Today was my first time ordering their lunch box with Crispy Capital Chicken to go! It was VERY tasty!
I’ve ordered Mapo-Tofu and other dishes before (apologizes I was too excited to eat, forgot to take pictures…)literally everything was good…
There is no need to think, just order! You won’t regret!
The service is excellent. For the food, there's still some room for improvement. But I do believe this should be your go to if you crave Malaysian Nasi Lemak.
Had a lovely dinner with huge tasty portions in Zheng recently. It's not a very cheap place - spent £20 per person there, but we had a starter and a main. Personnel is very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcomed! Would highly recommend as a place to go in Jericho!
Food is exceptionally good, and comes very quickly. The missing star is for the decor and weird behaviour of staff... they all seem on the edge and behave in a strange way. If you don't mind the quaint decor and weird servers it is a good place for oriental food. Expensive though.
Very nice Singaporean/Malaysian food! I was first recommended by the Queen of Malaysia to this restaurant when I met her in London, and she said this is one of her favourite restaurants in Oxford! Wow.
Highly recommend the cereal prawns and the Singaporean Kungpao chicken, the unique Singapore kungpao sauce was very on point! Ice milo reminded me of home.
Food serving can be a little bit small so just spend more and order more. Staff are very friendly and professional. Both my angmo friend and I had a good time!!
I recommend.
Its very delicious and full of flavours. Loved it all.. will come back for sure. I even got take way to eat more next day too. Just didn't like this bubble tea.. was too sweet and cold, but they are sweet and cold normal way, so really nothing to complain about. Totally recommend it.
Based on order for collection, grate service over the phone food was grate looked smelled fresh and tasty this is very important due to the fact my son complex needs, we have decided we will be visiting and dining in next time. Menu online needs updating.
We visited 1st time to experience their Malaysian satay and Nasi Lemak. The satay needs to be improved a lot more . Overall service was excellent.
Wonderful food. The chefs choice menu is especially good with a varied selection of cuisine served. If you go for the full £39.99 option just make sure you're hungry!! Good selection of wines and spirits available. Very friendly and knowledge staff. Free WiFi is also available.
I absolutely loved the food at Zheng. It's not easy to find yum Malaysian food where I live and this is one of my favourites since I discovered them thanks to a friend. Everytime I travel to Oxford, I stop by and place a takeaway order to take home with me. The chicken satay skewers are delicious, tender and really flavourful, especially with the peanut sauce. For the mains, I have now tried the Malaysian Chicken Curry, the Beef and Chicken Rendang, the Chicken Mapo Tofu and the Godmother's Chilli Chicken. So far, not one has been a miss and I would struggle to pick a favourite amongst them. Safe to say I would recommend Zheng to anyone I know for a truly tasty meal. It was all so good, I forgot to take pictures once I tasted the chicken satay 😁
