One of the few cheaper but still tasty food options in Oxford. It's quick and easy, and conveniently located in the Covered Market. Their portions are very generous, and I always leave feeling stuffed. I've had a few of their dishes, but I'll highlight the duck curry as my favorite! If you like spicy food, Sasi's Thai won't disappoint. Their green curry is also phenomenal and full of flavor and spice. The pork with egg, on the other hand, is also good but very meat- and gravy-heavy. It's not spicy at all, so a good option if you're looking for a thicker, milder meal. Overall a great place to grab a bite -- just be sure to avoid the busiest meal times as seating can go quickly!

Thai food in London?? I love Thai food so I had to check this place out! It looked like a popular lunch spot because it was packed. The line moves fast and the workers are hustling. I ordered the rice plate with two entrees. I got the red beef curry and the yellow chicken curry! The atmosphere of this place is great to experience and see everyone conversing. The food here is pretty good and full of spicy Thai flavor. The curries I ordered were classic Thai dishes and the rice soaked up the delicious juices of the curry. The curries were strong with Thai spice, but seemed to be missing the sweetness that Thai food usually has. Some star anise or brown sugar would have made the food have a nice sweetness and cut the spiciness of the food. The lunch specials are a great option and you will get your meal very fast! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try some Thai food and wants to be in a great atmosphere!

I am really praying for their success, and from the looks of things lunchtime business is booming. It's a great option for quick, cheap and very delicious Thai in the city centre with standards like pad thai and green curry alongside more exotic offerings. They will prepare you a giant iced coffee for 2.20, and they have a little grocery where you can find things like thai basil and young peppercorns that I have struggled to find elsewhere in Oxford, even at the specialty markets. Sassi's best idea was hiring Noum, though, who is the face of the shop and an absolute treasure - he's always cheerful and even gives me cooking tips.

Pleasant place for a quick bite in the heart of Covered Markets in Oxford city center. It is street-alike stalls in Bangkok but rest assured, their dishes are superbly prepared and delicious. Beef curry over rice is my top picks while Pad Thai is a bit different from those traditional style, yet still with a great taste.

First dish tasted in Oxford, definitely satisfied and up to expectation. Great portion at excellent pricing. Recommend green curry chicken for those who can take the heat, chicken cashew for those who can’t 😅

A small canteen style Thai restaurant in the Covered Market. Pros: - affordable (7.50 for rice + 1 selection, 9.50 for rice + 2 selection) - quick service - delicious food! i got the spicy squid with vegetables and it was flavorful and truly spicy (shouldn't have gotten the extra sriracha and green chili peppers ahha...) Cons: - small space, often need to share tables with others - things like cutlery and water are "self-service" which i don't mind but some others may - a lottt of rice. i wish they had a greater portion of the dish

My absolute all time go-to Thai food spot in oxford! As an excessive thai food addict, this place always hits the spot! Sometimes, they even take special recommendations for their special of the day! I tear up occasionally after a long day and a spoon full of their Thai green curry with rice or Khao Kha moo…. Oopfh!

Value for money, quick service despite a long queue, shared seating and takeaway options. We had Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry with Chicken, very reasonably priced at £6.5 for each and huge servings. Worth the hype!

Hands down my favourite place to come for lunch!!!! The staff are really lovely and the food is incredible as well :) You get it to either have just one dish with rice or with two and also other noodle options such as the Pad thai!! I love their Pad thai, Thai Milk Tea and eggs with pork is great as well! Having takeaway option is nice as well and the portion is really lovely!! Having some stamp cards will be even great addition and also takeaway chopsticks will be great as well. Would miss coming here :)!!Highly recommend :)!!!

Really delicious food and decent portion sizes for a very reasonable price. Great selection of noodle, rice and curry dishes, but not overwhelming. The restaurant itself has very limited seating and can get pretty busy, so takeaway is often a better option. Service is quite fast so even a long line can move pretty quickly. Definitely recommend for a nice filling lunch.

Sasi’s Thai is one of the best places for authentic simple Thai food. Being a vegetarian, I almost always pick the vegan thai green curry with jasmine rice - it’s delicious! The quality, quantity and pricing is what attracts most folks here!

It's authentic Thai food though they adjusted taste a little bit, dropped spicy for some food but they still keep the original taste. It's not easy to find a good Thai restaurant in Europe for Thai people like me (usually Thai food here are too sweet or the recipe are adjusted in the way that I don't feel the original taste anymore. Price is quite cheap...only £7 for 2 kinds of food with rice. I like the owner and other staffs. They kept my hostel key card that I dropped on the floor...thank you again for your hospitality. The food I ate there were Tom Yum and stir-fried spicy crispy pork.

Although there are many Thai food restaurants in Oxford, but this one never fails to satisfy my hunger.. Also my favourite one is rice with egg and pork. The price is affordable (I hope they give student discount in the future) and I would definitely come back again. One major drawback : they don't open on Sunday

Sasi’s our go-to thai restaurant, we make time to go eat there at least once a week if we can. The flavours, the quality of all the ingredients and the freshness of food are impeccable every time we visit.

Recommend the thai iced drink and crispy pork. Red curry too spicy for my preference. Still a good experience
