Still as good as 20yrs ago when I first had them when studying for my civ eng degree at the Poly in Oxford.
A must every time we visit UK
Still the best cookie in town and the only cookie I crave
Im a sucker for the milk choc chip, you just can't go wrong with this soft, gooey chocolatey treat.
Melhores bolachas de sempre! É impossível escolher com tanta variedade,... e muitas vezes vem quentes ainda!!! Na dúvida, tudo quanto tem chocolate e manteiga amendoim vale apena
Ben does some good cookies, so I’m more than glad they’re all around the place even here in Oxford. Ben’s Cookies are located in the Covered market and this branch offers the same, stomach-pleasing range. Prices seem cheaper (at least, I think it is) and the cookies seem a bit more thicker than the flattened ones in the city. In any case you always pay by the gram. We got there just before closing and I dug into the triple chocolate option. Mmm I love the sugary chocolate goodness, and the chewy texture reminds me of the cookies I didn’t use to bake.

Increíblemente deliciosas, gran variedad y todas para literalmente chuparse los dedos. El lugar es bastante modesto y su preparación pareciera bastante tosca pero la realidad se demuestra en el paladar y sus sabores son increíbles.

I literally bought 2 dozens of these cookies to take back home with me! My favorite has got to be the original chocolate chip cookie. Make sure to ask for a fresh batch and make sure you heat the cookie before having it(in case you didn't eat it right after buying it). The taste is only there when the cookie is heated, otherwise it's just a regular cookie.
It's mushy, it has melts chocolate inside, and it's slightly chewy; the perfect combination!
An institution in its own right, this small outlet in the covered market serves up deliciously warm cookies, priced per weight. There is a good selection and at least one to suit all tastebuds. My personal favourite is the choc chip, a classic.
Absolutely delicious, freshly made cookies and super-friendly staff at a perfect location. A must if you visit Oxford.☕ #benscookies #Oxford #coveredmarket #cookies #bestcookiesever #chocolate #coffee #chocolatelovers #foodie
You can find Ben's Cookies in the covered market by following the smell of freshly baked chocolatey goodness. The small cookie shop is tucked away on the High Street end of covered market, and offers a creative selection of in-store baked melt-in-the-middle cookies, which are a cross between a cookie and a cake. Time your arrival and you may be lucky to be treated to a warm cookie with a cup of milk.
My personal favourites are the white chocolate, triple chocolate, chocolate and orange, and the classic milk chocolate. Each has it's own richness and flavour, and taste best when warm, but delicious still when cooled. There are healthier options for those who are that way inclined, such as oatmeal and raisin. The cookie is weighed and served in a paper bag, with a Quentin Blake illustration of Ben. If you're feeling super indulgent, you can buy a tin of four or eight cookies for a fixed price.
The great thing about the Oxford shop is that you can be served by the legend, Ben, himself! In his words, "Oxford is the original!" He has a beautiful knowing smile and will brighten up your day alongside the cookie :)
This stall serves the softest and the most gooey chocolate cookie I've ever tasted. There are many varieties to choose from served fresh and hot when ordered. It can get crowded at times and the flavours run out fast, especially the orange and milk chocolate. The double chocolate cookies I tried were fantastic, it was delicious and sinfully full of chocolate punch. Priced reasonably well, single and packs are available to order.
Some of the most delicious cookies I have had in my life! Many friends I brought over also echo this. The triple chocolate is definitely my favourite. Prices are quite high but it is worth it and you shouldn't be eating such decadent food all the time anyways. Highly recommend it!
Best cookies in Oxford! Especially if you like your cookies warm with melting chocolate and on the soft side!
Choosing WHICH of Ben's Cookies to scarf down on might be the hardest decision I made while vacationing in London!
Since this was my first visit to Ben's Cookies, I chose what I felt was the most unique flavor (at least, it's a combination I'd never tried): Chocolate Chip and Ginger. I'm a big fan of ginger-accented teas, and figured I couldn't go wrong with a class cookie given a mature twist!
These guys are worth their weight in pounds. I could *just* hold one comfortably in my hand. Thick, bigger than my palm, and perfect for sharing, these cookies arrive warm, gooey, and melt-in-your-mouth soft with the perfect firmness of outer crust.
The chocolate tasted rich and dark with glistening smears of melting cocoa on the toasted-brown shell. The ginger, though, stole the show, giving a marvelous snap and sizzle of mild heat wave that danced over the tongue in a playful tango with the chocolate. I can't believe I've gone through life never having tried this combination before!
Don't pass by Ben's Cookies, wherever you happen to find them... but few locations carry the atmosphere and charm of the Oxford Covered Market. Conveniently located next to many tourist spots, it's a must-stop dessert shop. Highly recommended!
Cookies are deliscious. 2,2 pounds one, but some discounts after ordering more than 5. However, there is not an option for gluten-free.
The store is in the covered market.
The cookies were very good and lived up to the hype. It is fairly expensive for cookies.
Service was good and most of the flavours were available.
The double choc as well as the choc and nuts were very good!
Actually the best cookie I’ve had in my life
Originated from here. One for 2.2 pound. So good. Unexpectedly it's soft inside. Triple chocolate chuck tastes like chocolate fudge. Love it.
Bens cookies were incredible!! We got the bundle set with 6? And it was so nice to see you can get some extra for these bundles! Great to see vegan option and I love the chocolate orange and milk chocolate :) The gooiness is top notch and wanted to buy more after :) Highly recommend and will be coming back for sure :)
Really nice cookies. Overpriced for what they are but wasn't isn't at the minute. Definitely bigger than other places. Really nice when warm. Delivery option is a good option available, but just keep in mind some do always seem to turn up broken, which is a shame, but I guess it's difficult to for this not to happen when they are so soft amd gooey!
These are the best cookies I ever had! I'm glad I don't live in Oxford. I'm pretty sure that in a week I would empty my bank account at this place and embrace my new life as a happy hippo.
Great cookies at an affordable price! Most varieties consist of chocolate chip and they all are soft cookies! The flavor for all of the cookies are just great!
Amazing cookie. Not to over or underdone. Cooked just right. Has the cookie dough taste. The best thing I had in Oxford
One of the best cookies I ever had
CRAZILY GOOD - Must try! make sure you stop by here whenever you're in Oxford, seriously, dont miss this cookies. Im not a cookies fan and this is super good - very moist and chewy, and when you eat it the filling inside burst out. I tried the double chocolote and dark chocolote and I love it both. I think this is the best cookies ive ever had so far in my life. Cheers
Delicious and well-priced cookies. Highly recommend the triple chocolate cookie for that occasional sugar rush we all need :)
The best cookie I've ever had. Wonderful.
