A small and very friendly village pub, and nice to see some interesting local cask ales available. Food was good, especially the chicken/Parma ham/ blue cheese dish. Service is excellent. My reason for dropping a star is that the pub's website shows a menu board that is obviously well out of date regarding pricing. Whereas the website example shows all mains a little under £10, in reality they are now priced at £15. I know there's been a period of high inflation, but this oversight meant our expectations didn't match what we found. Still worth a visit, and wise to book ahead for food as there is limited space.

The perfect country pub. The food was spot on, the drinks were reasonably priced and nothing was too much trouble for the landlord. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

We stayed in a cottage just down the road from here - and what an absolutely lovely little pub. The food was AMAZING so much so we had to eat there twice and I ordered the same thing (the curry). The owners are the most lovely and welcoming people I've ever met, they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome and are just genuinely lovely lovely people. I will be recommending here to my parents too!!

Staying in Ovington, so had to try the Four Alls. What an experience. The best home cooked food ever (steak and ale pie, rib eye steak, sticky toffee pudding and treacle tart all mouth watering). Landlord and landlady couldn’t be more welcoming to us and and our 3 dogs. If you are in the area, you must try this incredible pub!

Fantastic food and great value . The puddings looked amazing but we were too full from our main course. The beer was well kept and delicious and service was brilliant. I’d go so far as to say one of the warmest welcomes I’ve received in my many years of visiting pubs!

Out of my many years of going into pubs I honestly don’t think I’ve meet such a friendly landlord and landlady. Dave kept us supplied with drinks whilst Christine cooked delicious home made food delivered by their lovely daughter. Definitely worth a visit

100% recommend. They're so friendly, we have a caravan at Winston Bridge so really local for us. They always reserve us a table. Great baby facilities and the best veggie lasagne!

First visited this pub New Years Eve 2021 when we stayed in a cottage in the village, popped in to see if they could accommodate us for a meal, they were fully booked but because we were early squeezed us in on the little upper level, perfect for the 2 of us and our dog, back again November 2022 and had a meal each night they are open, really good, tasty homecooked food, Dave, Christine & the other staff are all so welcoming, booking is highly recommended for eating as its very popular, looking forward to being back for the new year again!

We have just had a lovely home cooked Sunday lunch at this lovely welcoming little pub. The food was beautiful and the welcome was warm and sincere. Will certainly be returning sooner rather than later. It was like having lunch at your friends house...cosy and friendly.

Popped here on the way through to Carlisle because we didn't want to eat on the main A66. Such a lovely village to stop off in. Exactly what you want from a country pub, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, extremely happy to help. They went out of their way to show their appreciation for us stopping off. We had pints of Flower Power - their beer on tap, and bbq ribs with profiteroles for dessert. The chips were perfect chunky pub chips! Thoroughly enjoyed our stop off. Thank you so much. We'll be back!

Dave and Christine. The perfect hosts. I had not been here for 20 years. I now feel like part of the village. Beer is absolutely brilliant. Just had Sunday lunch here. Christine has excelled. Everything was cooked to perfection. If you haven't had a meal here. You are really missing out.
