Recommended by friends and wasn’t disappointed. Really friendly team there and great atmosphere. Food was delicious as well though difficult to choose from the extensive veggie options! Will definitely be going back!
Excellent village pub, friendly staff, beer and food tasty and not overly expensive, great beer garden at the back in the summer, they run pub quizzes and even have a proper ice cream stand. What more could you want?! Highly recommended.
First time visit with a friend for Sunday lunch. We ordered beef and pork roast. The pork roast came with pork scratchings which were delicious. Plenty of meat and tasty fresh veg. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will come back. Another positive was no dogs are allowed in, which makes a refreshing chan
Excellent value for money local pub. Very genuine. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good food, reasonable prices and a fairly good selection of real ales. Plenty of parking on road.
Cracking little pub with an excellent under cover beer garden and a kids play area. Heating and a television outdoors for sports. Lovely and cosy interior filled with the delicious aromas coming from the vast and well appointed menu. Staff were all cracking, and local crowd all lovely. Can't ask
Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious! Tender lamb, fresh vegetables, a proper plateful! The staff are very attentive and polite. The bill very reasonable for two. We will be back - probably next week!!!
After many disappointing meals at other pubs this place has restored my faith in pub grub again. Had prawn Orly which was delicious and hot beef baguette. Wish I had remembered to take photos to show the high quality of the food. Will be returning soon to try the mixed grill. Staff very friendly and

A wonderful place to eat and drink, booking for food is always recommended as often it’s busy. Foods always lovely! Good selection of drinks especially for the gin lovers. Great outdoor space for eating drinking and entertaining the kids.
Had Sunday dinner with the family. The food was great and the staff were so cheerful and attentive. Great atmosphere, the place was bouncing.
Had a rasberry pale ale, which was not to my taste, but if you don't try new things then you never know what's out there. Had a pint of rivet catcher which was excellent. South facing beer garden very good. Did not eat on this occasion so can't comment on food
A great surprise. Stayed locally for one night and walked in. Really good staff, welcoming. Generous portions and great food. Well priced, bargain compared to where we live!
Food good and very reasonable in these times. Not a bad end. Staff pleasant but for me the decor is just too dark and gloomy. Good choice of beers and lagers,
Great Pub to grab a bite to eat, a good varied menu with Specials board. BT & SKY TV with numerous screens, friendly helpful staff. 10/10👍🏻
Great food, nice atmosphere and good service! The portions are absolutely huge, so be prepared to be stuffed if you order a starter as well. The chips were especially impressive - even the thick-cut ones were beautifully crisp on the outside. The only downside was that it was a bit drafty in some a
Great food. Can be busy at times so best to reserve table when eating.
