Gorgeous tomato soup and soft white bread and butter, perfect for someone with dental issues, the owner ‘got’ my request instantly. Husband enjoyed his toasted cheese sandwich too. Thank you.
Lovely food, I had onion and cider home made soup followed by carrot cake and coffee. My wife had a massive cheese scone then apple cake with cream and coffee. Well worth the money and I can highly recommend them. All home made.
I was recommended this business by a friend who know of the great work that they do. I needed my mother watercolour painting to be mounted and reframed . Instead of the huge price tag that I had originally got from a shop in Basingstoke town centre (£350+), on his advice the painting will be professionally mounted and framed with protective glass for a faction of the original quotation from the shops in Basingstoke. The lesson learnt the large town shops are not best value, support the rural community shops who offer far better service and value for money.
Richard and Zoe are always happy to see their customers - so stopping by is always a pleasure. Richard’s framing skills are legendary! He is currently working on three paintings for me - looking forward to seeing the results :)
These guys are fabulous. Richard takes special interest in all our framing and helps to make the right choice for every room. Don't go anywhere else in Hampshire!

An absolute DARLING of an independent! A delightful tea room/patio garden with a yummy menu, plenty of seating, and service with a friendlier-than-friendly smile and banter. Topped off with some really gorgeous gifts for a that special someone (even if that is yourself). Only grumble is the size of the carrot cake -a sparrow's portion but perhaps this is their bid to curb the obesity issue the UK!
Was very lovely! The person who served us was great and very helpful, making sure we were comfortable, and taking our order in a timely manner. We had brownies and cream teas, and they were lovely, both were warm and seemed freshly made.
Very enjoyable visit! We tipped 15%
coffee was exceptional! And the scones were delicious, definitely will be coming here again
highly recommend
I recently took in some photos which needed framing and Richard was just excellent. I’ve just today collected these and they are fantastic, highly recommended and very reasonably priced! Thanks Richard!
Really different village shop which runs a very popular tea shop (you have to have the 'Saturday Sausage Sarnie'!) which does a range of lunches and cakes etc, mainly home made at The Gallery (the houmous is amazing!). While eating there you're surrounded by a variety of quirky, fun and beautiful gifts plus art. After all, it is a picture framing gallery too! Run by Richard and Zoe plus their daughter, son and other friendly helpers, it's a delightful place to while away a couple of hours. They often have new stock and I recently made the 'mistake' of popping in while they were unpacking the new Christmas stock! Oh dear! I bought just as many things for myself as I did for other people!! But it's all so lovely (sigh) ...! Oh and did I mention the range of greetings cards? Everything from beautiful hand-made ones to hilariously funny ones ... they're great! Give it a try!
