What a lovely place 😍 great value food and drinks, we had milkshakes and breakfasts. The milkshakes were divine and the breakfast equally as good with delicious sausages and bacon, hashbrowns to die for. We sat outside in the square but there is plenty of seating inside too. Service was very good and prices excellent

food and drink was really nice, loved the whole aesthetic. unfortunately the service wasn't great and the lady that served us wasn't very friendly. put our food on the table saying nothing and didn't smile once at us, if it wasn't for the food and drink being great i definitely wouldn't come back.
Great dog friendly cafe, good food, dairy free was not an issue. Quiet when we arrived but quickly got busy. Other customers were being told of a wait for food but everything prepared fresh so that is not unreasonable.

A great cafe... Honest, simple, no frills, superb food...a great place to grab a decent coffee, and a hearty meal. Staff are excellent.... Oh and the cakes will induce much pleasure....

Friendly service. Good, well priced food. The reason for 4 stars was the delay, despite not appearing too busy on a Sunday late morning, to the (delicious) food (small breakfast and an egg and sausage bap) arriving.

Noticed this lovely place a few days ago, food is so good we have been in twice since, will certainly be a regular.
We stumbled across this uber superb Coffee Tavern by chance, one sunny Autumn morning, we were blown away. Not Rizzy and chic, not pretentious and "designer", just a cosy, well managed and inexpensive place to enjoy quality food, at better than affordable prices. Predictably I had the FULL English breakfast, which nearly proved fatal, it was the VERY best FEB I have ever experienced, I possibly won,t eat for the rest of the week! Superbly prepared using the best local ingredients and cooked to perfection, I struggled but made it. Then there was the huge fresh coffee, mind blowing,... with more taste than you can shake a stick at. We will be back, probably not tomorrow, but give me a week or so. CB Wisbech.
It's in a convenient location. We ordered waffles because they looked delicious in the photo. The waffles' presentation needs improving. Good to try something different but I wouldn't go there only for that reason.
