Went with three friends and we all ordered a different meal. All were delicious. I had beef in ale pie: the beef was succulent and pastry was crispy and melt in the mouth. My friends had the chicken with mushrooms, scampi and the chicken pie. All were scrumptious. Would recommend the pub for food, friendly staff and atmosphere and price.

First time we've been today. Called in at lunchtime. Service very good friendly and food was delicious hot and very well presented. We will certainly be calling again. Proper chips deserves an extra star!!
I'm quite surprised to see so negative comments about this pub.We just had dinner there and it was great. All staff were polite and very kind ,food was really tasty and hot, and very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed it.

Met a friend for tea tonight, we last went about three years ago. The food was delicious and well presented, homemade chips too! The bar man and our waitress were lovely, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning! Thank you :)
Had a lovely evening attending a family birthday meal. The food was excellent. The fish & chips was very good! Excellent portions. Fresh fish and proper homecooked chips! Husband had mega mixed grill and it was top quality and huge!
The pub was very cosy and the staff very helpful. They made us feel so welcome and kid and dog friendly too which was great !

Visited for the first time in probably over 7 years. The outdoor space is fantastic, a great sun spot to chill out after a busy day. Food was lovely, and the staff were very welcoming.
Went there for father-in-law’s 80th birthday last night as a party of 12. Food was fantastic; service excellent and all reasonably priced. Staff couldn’t do enough for us so will go back again (upset I didn’t order the fish and chips as everyone that had them said they were brilliant). They also didn’t make us wait outside for a lift despite them no doubt wanting to go home. Highly recommended!!
Great food at a reasonable price. We arrived early in the day, so not a lot of people there. Food, a sunday roast, came out fast and hot with a large Yorkshire pudding.
Amazing place with its own very nice character.

Me and my partner went here today . Have been in a few times and always had good food and great service . Today was the first time we have had sunday lunch here and definitely won't be the last . Fresh vegetables, homemade yorkshires, proper gravy and the meat just melts in your mouth x highly recommended 👌

I was very lucky to find an overnight/day parking spot opposite this pub. I really don't want to say anything bad because my experience overall was very pleasant, staff were helpful, check backs complete, food hot, toilets clean, what you'd expect however just a couple of negatives. Menu's printed and stuffed inside plastic sleeves which have seen better days instantly had me worried, condiments in a small bucket on the table, another bad choice, and finally very cheap serviettes and cutlery on the tables, a big turn off. I watched the owner (assuming), put up more than 16 hanging baskets outside which looked amazing, I'm sure it's in hand landlord and I know as an ex-landlord things don't happen over night, however, take the time inside as well as out, it's a darling of a boozer spoiled by cheap and nasty finishes. Overall the food was nice, hot and well portioned. Speed up your chef, spend the time and money on salt and pepper shakers, proper sauces and some at least card menus and I think this place would be amazing not just very good.
I’d been here on several occasions a few years ago and always really liked it so was surprised to see a few recent negative reviews.. despite this a group of 6 of us decided to give it a go while in the area and we are really pleased we did as every one of us really enjoyed our food. I had fish and chips and my partner had sausage and mash, both loved our meals. Staff extremely friendly too- I’d recommend anyone to give this place a try

Called in on chance for a Sunday roast. The staff were excellent very friendly and efficient. The food was also excellent and great value. Would really recommend the Three Horse Shoes. The photo was the only one I took the vegetables were served in a sperate bowl as well as more gravy.
