As we are staying in Dove lodge on Otterburn Hall Estate. We came to the Coach House for a meal. Very warm welcome to us and our dog. The food was excellent. The service was superb. would highly recommend this place to friends. Can't wait to come here again. �����.
Great Sunday lunch, even catered for me the awkward vegan. Great atmosphere very friendly staff and owner. Definitely recommend.

We spent a night at The Coach House when attending a wedding locally. It's a gem of a place! Our room was beautifully decorated, well equipped and very comfortable. The new owners are very welcoming and accommodating, and the breakfast was the perfect antidote the morning after the wedding. We will definitely visit again, next time with our dog, and look forward to sampling the food menu when it launches. Thank you Gemma & Paul x

Visited yesterday for Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it! Food was amazing, the girls who were serving were so friendly and polite. Being able to bring the dog with us was an added bonus. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back!
Had the entire place booked out for a family birthday celebration. Staff were on hand from the moment we arrived and could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
Rooms and communal areas were immaculately presented.
Evening meal and breakfast were both superb.

Just arrived back from an overnight jaunt to Otterburn, stayed at The Coach House for my mothers 70th birthday. We couldn't recommend this hotel enough, gorgeous setting, lovely rooms, friendly staff and still full from breakfast !! Xx
I stayed here for my sons wedding and it was perfect, staff couldn’t do enough for you, they were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are very clean and food delicious. Only downside is the WiFi signal which was poor. Ideal for a romantic break or a peaceful idyllic getaway
Stayed overnight as part of a large group for a birthday celebration and from checking in on the Saturday afternoon until check out the following morning the staff were fantastic. Evening meal and breakfasts were superb ! Bedrooms luxurious and large lounge area very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and nothing was a problem. I must mention Dominic who was amazingly friendly and a credit to the place. Will definitely be returning and would recommend a visit !!!
We didn't stay here but the lodges with hot tubs look amazing. We had excellent food and our server was absolutely lovely. It is a shame the large house is derelict, it would be a marvellous location for weddings etc.

Dropped into the Coach House for one night on the way to the Scottish Borders and spent a very pleasant night there. We were delayed and late to arrive. The hotel called us to check our arrival time and to explain that the reception desk would close shortly. They were very friendly and attentive and were ready to plan access and check in for us if we arrived too late. Concerned and helpful. Just right.
The room was clean and comfortable. Not plush and overly styled but honestly cosy and very relaxing helped by good lighting with dimmable main and bedside lamps.
Breakfast was excellent. Help yourself Continental style cereal and pastries complement by a selection of cooked dishes to order. We had the full English breakfast that was top quality and bursting with flavour, not greasy at all. More importantly the coffee was good!
All in all a good wee hotel and great base for exploring the local forest parks and nature reserves.
My stay there was very pleasant! the rooms were cleaned well and everything needed was provided. I thoroughly enjoyed their food! Amy, the lady who looked after me, was a very kind and very hard worker. I wish her the best!

Went here for dinner one night with family on a trip away. We were a bit skeptical about the prices at first but we had a great time! Special shout out to our server who seemed to be taking orders, making drinks etc. all on their own. Very friendly and accommodating, made a mocktail for one of our party when it wasn’t on the menu.
For drinks we got wine, a few cocktails and an off-menu mocktail. All lovely.
Two of us got starters. Salt and pepper squid - partner said this was very nice. I got the chicken skewers, they were a little basic and dry but the dip was super tasty. For mains two of us got fish and chips, delicious absolutely perfect. Two of us got the lamb flatbreads they seemed to go down a treat, especially the paprika chips. And one of us got the beef with pepper cream sauce, excellent cut of beef, sauce was perfect, again loved the chips.
Two of us got pudding, sticky toffee and cheesecake. They both went down well.
Definitely recommend the food here! The music behind us was a bit loud, but it didn’t spoil anything.

What a hidden gem this place is. We stayed overnight in their car park in our motorhome and had a beautifully prepared and superb quality meal in the restaurant. really interesting to walk the grounds of Otterburn Hall too.
My partner and I stayed for one night for his birthday gift. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. The room was comfortable, but it was so far from reception, we had no wifi. We will definitely go back for a short weekend.
We had Sunday lunch there today as a treat for my son’s 15th birthday. Service was lovely and food outstanding. I’d definitely recommend.

Room....
I don't think the description of the rooms are accurate. The room we were in and paid extra for, was ment to be a deluxe room but it was so small! I did ask at reception and they said it had a bigger bathroom than the standard rooms... I think this should be made clear on the room description of what you paying extra money for as I would definitely not have paid extra for a little bit bigger bathroom and to be honest it was not even that big so I would imagine how small the standard are... the rooms' furniture does not match the rooms caricature either, the wallpaper is quite grand and very lovely as is the beds but then there is a build it your self wardrobe and draws in the room that just spoils the decor.
Food..
You can not fault the food one tiny bit it is amazing!! We had a 5 course tasting menu as part of a groupon deal and it was lovely. Breakfast again amazing poached eggs done perfectly...

Grounds..
Lovely we walked around on the morning and it's such a lovely area shame about the derelict Otterburn hall over the road. We would definitely come back to the area and even the hotel again.
Lovely hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, well worth a visit just for the food. Miles and miles of beautiful countryside. Social distancing and other covid measures in place but does not detract from a lovely stay.
