Fantastic place to visit for food and drinks. Exceptional food and quality local produce. Friendly staff and lovely location. Caters for gluten-free and plenty of free parking. We really enjoyed ourselves and had 3 courses it was that good! It has a lovely shop too!
On visiting The White Horse it was nice to take a photo of the white horse outside. Having Drinks and Crisps to just sit inside and relax was nice. The Bar Staff Seemed friendly. I Liked how there was a Gift Shop there. All round very nice. I would visit again.
Amazing place, amazing food and service we had 3 courses it was that tasty, they catered for gluten-free really well. Definitely going back! Plus, they have a little shop too!

Really enjoyable Friday lunch at the White Horse. We were lucky to get a table as hadn't booked and must pass our thanks to the gentlemen who was just finishing up and vacated his table. This set the tone for lunch: friendly clientele; friendly staff; prompt service; very quick turn round on food; d
Starting with the positives: Lovely atmosphere, with a little gift shop and other lovely locally produced items to buy around the pub. The staff were young but helpful. The children's menu was reasonably priced (£7 for a main course) and a good portion size. Our daughter really enjoyed it. The courg
Tried out this venue for breakfast and not disappointed. Service was good and food very tasty with many ingredients locally sourced. Decor was homely and well presented with even a small gift area at the entrance. Lots of outdoor seating, lots of parking and a children’s play area. A great place for

Saved the day when another establishment let us down. They took a party of 7 in at last minute notice on a Monday night. Lovely servers and accurate orders taken and delivered. Majority of party really enjoyed their food but I would avoid the crab linguine. Puddings good value and tasty. Fish and
The White Horse was very convenient for catching a ferry from Portsmouth so booked a table for breakfast. We both had Advocado & poached eggs on sourdough, delicious with lovely hot latte coffees. The service was great, very efficient & served with a smile.

Unfortunately due to one of the guests of honour contracting covid, we were forced to rearrange that booking to Janua
Gorgeous pub! Food was great, service was easy. I'd not been in a few years and the interior is stunning. Absolutely Instagramable. Lovely little gift shop too.
Great day out - perfect for a family lunch - love the play area too, great for the kids, kept them entertained while we could enjoy our drinks and lunch :)
They had the requested table organised for our arrival & were attentive in serving drinks initially but then left us to enjoy our chat. The sharing platters were lovely.
