We called in on a Saturday evening as we were having a bit of a pub crawl. We were served quickly by friendly staff. We got seated in a lovely little owl cove. There are lovely little areas where someone has put some thought into the decor it adds to the atmosphere. I would like to return to try the menu it sounds really good. There is also a beer garden so I would definitely like to come back when it is warmer. I didn't use the bathroom but the pub is all on ground level so good accessibility. Dogs and children are welcomed .

Amazing bottomless brunch! The first in Otley I’ve been to! Would highly recommend! £30 each and choose any cocktails and 3 small plates each from the menu! Would definitely return for the bottomless and will also be returning in the future to order from the main menu! Hopefully in better weather so can sit in rear beer garden! Thanks for having us!

Have been several times on a Tuesday (50% off food). Delicious Ultimate Burger made with Aberdeen Angus beef and a very tender 8oz steak.

Friendly staff, lovely food. We were a group of 10 on a pre booked reservation. Easily coped with by the very capable staff. Everyone commented on how nice their food was. We had ham and eggs, sausage and mash, fish and chips plus baked spud with chicken and bacon. A great evening for us all.

Wanted a cheap pub meal and rose and crown was recommended. Hadn't been in since new owners took over. I liked the idea that we could have small.meals which were plenty for us. Food was really good and service excellent. Will be back. BTW Benn told their Sunday roasts are good so will try that sometime.

The beef dinner was cooked to perfection. I'll try the gammon next time and maybe later, the vegan. I didn't drink as I was driving, but parking in sainsbury's car park was no problem and very close. You can park there for up to 4 hours.

A lovely cosey pub with plenty of old charm.Brilliant Staff with good hand pulled Beer's and the rest. Great food at slightly higher prices but you will not be disappointed with the quality of it all. Had some ProperJob Beer in 2 weeks ago 😋 Cheers!

Since changing hands this Summer it's becoming one of the best pubs in town. Welcoming pub with good food and good beer. Quiz night, bingo night. Great beer garden. Dog friendly. Definitely worth a visit now after a few years in the doldrums.

Me and the missus are staying up the road at a lodge we've come from Darlington for a 3 day break. We seen all the nice reviews about the rose and crown. So we decided to go for tea there tonight and it was lovely. Staff are very polite and friendly we would highly recommend here and if we are around here again in the future will defo be calling back in. Thank you to the rose and crown.

Great quiz here on a Wednesday night for £2 each. Drinks are sound. They serve food which looks good, though I've never tried. Great atmosphere.

Travelled to Otley with intent of calling in at pub for food . After a bit of searcing this pub came up so we decided to give it a go . We found it to be clean , staff very friendly and the food was well above our expectations , we had a roast beef sunday lunch , me having an extra portion of the excellently cooked roast beef . The beers were on sale at 2 quid a pint , that went down well having recently been to Brighton at 5 to 6 quid a pint . In a nutshell it is well worth a visit and for sure Jeanette and i will most definitely be doing that .
