Best Sunday roast I've had in a long time. Very tasty, served quickly by friendly staff. Quality cooking, lovely gravy. Cheesecake trio slightly disappointing.

Having been for lunch several times, we booked to celebrate Dad's 90th birthday with 25 family and friends. Everything was perfect. Amy and Justin were always prompt and very helpful with the booking and planning. A big thank you to Laura on the day for being the best host and making sure everything ran smoothly. Also, to the front of house team, thank you for your patience and excellent service. To the chef and team, the food was wonderful, thank you. We had a great time, Dad loved it. We'll be seeing you soon for lunch, just the 3 of us next time though 😁

Excellent food and staff, attentive and friendly. Only comment we have is that it is easier to eat a desert with a spoon AND a fork especially a tart! Starter knives and forks were removed as we didn't have starters so it would be relatively easy to return the forks with spoons for desert.

We really enjoyed it. We have two young children so it can be touch and go but the food arrived in good time and was delicious. The waitress that looked after our table was excellent, really really helpful and friendly. She was proceeded by Katie, we didn't get her name as she finished at 5. It was for Mothers Day so was a special treat. The pub was buzzing with atmosphere. We'll definitely come back, I've spent the morning telling colleagues and customers about how nice it was. Thank you!

Stopped by for dinner as it had vegan options and was dog friendly and what a treat. The staff were lovely, the food delicious. I had battered banana blossom and chips and my partner had sea bass. We aye in the bar which was lovely and the Restaurant also looked above average. We will definitely be going again

Really pretty little place with some great food options. Can be pricey depending on dish but mostly worth it. Scallops starter was stunning for example. Very nice staff and great service.

Stopped for Sunday lunch and had the roast with trimmings.. Lovely flavours.. chicken was fantastic. Pork belly was dry and over cooked though (and small portion of pork). Waiting staff were friendly and service was quick. Ample parking. Gorgeous interior. And very welcoming.

It's an attractive pub. It's evident that there's been some consideration around the overall theme and atmosphere. Service was great. She seemed new and a tiny bit awkward but was attentive and professional. The menu is not very extensive. However, it's still interesting and varied enough for most. I did note that it was very similar to The Pine Martin in Harrogate. It turns out they are part of the same chain. The food was served quite quickly, although the place was relatively quiet. Overall the quality of the food is very good, tasty and well presented. Portion sizes were as expected, just about right.

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. We both had the mushrooms starter, and then the steak pie and the salad. Everything was delicious and Laura provided excellent service. She took our orders promptly and always checked everything was OK. Hope to return soon.
