Beautiful Sunday dinner. Good price and excellent service. Will definitely be back. Less than £25 for 2 dinners (1 lamb 1 beef) 2 halves of lager. Great value.
Went for a meal. The customer service was personal and attentive without being overbearing. The food was super as was the local ale. Not a huge menu, but a sensible range and they do it really well.
Traditional small pub with a variety of beers and a good menu. I don't drink alcohol, so can't comment on the beer, but also have alcohol free lager in bottles. Lunch time snacks are very good, especially the ciabattas. Staff friendly. Worth a visit for lunch
Excellent food , lovely friendly staff, great atmosphere.
Great pub great atmosphere big range of drinks, reasonable price, would recommend
Stayed in Llansilin for the week and looked for somewhere to eat for early dinner. Googled places to eat and the Griffin came up. Had a lovely meal and service was fab. Bar staff and manager were lovely and attentive and food was hot, freshly cooked and delicious. Total meal for two including drinks
First visit to the town. Googled for Sunday lunch. It was delicious but boiled not roast potatoes 😓
Nice little pub with a good selection of drinks. Food was average
Omg!! Amazing food and pub, lovely place and cosy!! What a team u all made us feel welcome thank u.
Stopped here for food on our way home, staff were friendly and service was good. The food was good, I wouldn't say it was fantastic, but it hasn't put me off returning if I was in the area, not a place I'd rush back to (if that makes sense) The burgers were greasy. The homemade pie, soup and apple
Lovely home cooked food and really friendly staff. Highly recommended. It is one of the best pubs in town with a great selection of beers 👌
Visited for weekday lunch. Good value food and a nice ambiance.
Had an amazing Sunday roast good portion and food was top quality
Good bar staff and darts room
Great choices of ales and spirits, run by friendly staff, who know their business.
Good menu choice service good enjoyed my meal
Lovely cosy pub with super food .
First impressions were not favourable but after a few minutes our minds were changed by the lovely helpful staff. The jacket potatoes were very fluffy and delicious along with the homemade coleslaw. Would definitely recommend this place. Give it a go.
