Cross Guns Inn - Oswestry - Photo album

From the moment we arrived, the staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome. The food was tasty, and the portion was great value for money . I would definitely recommend
We went for rides in the car at the weekend and ended up here & thought we'd try Sunday lunch. It was a great decision. Lots of veg options served, the best roast potatoes I've ever had, and the beef was tasty and plentiful. we will definitely be going back šŸ„°
Friendly, comfortable place. Decent food, pleasant staff. Outside seating. Warning: they offer very tasty black vanilla ice-cream sundaes. Do not, repeat do not, get the black stuff on your clothes!
ā€¢Homemade food ā€¢Large portions full of flavour ā€¢The risotto had too much salt though ā€¢Impressive homemade chicken kiev
Friendly staff, lovely Sunday lunch meal, parking, beer garden and extremely dog friendly, dogs allowed inside and outside, would recommend and will visit again when am in the area.
We spotted this place in the middle of a 4 hour drive and popped in searching for sustenance. We were quickly seated and food took no time at all to arrive. It was reasonably priced - we had starters and a main - and absolutely stunning. My husband had the beef Sunday Roast, whilst I had Crab Mac n'
Stopped off on the way to Aberystwyth. Lovely service and fresh food. The fish goujon sandwich was huge! Worth the price and definitely filled me. Generous portion. Will be the new place to pop in now on our long journeys!
Only having a few pints, and yes wife is driving back šŸ‘
Lovely pub with super friendly staff. Made us and our dog very welcome and the food was fantastic.
Nice pub, great food served piping hot, lovely staff, nice beer garden, not the smartest place but will definitely be returning!
Had a lovely meal here. They welcomed my dog and were very friendly.
Had a delicious lunch here, on way home from a pleasant weekend at The Glyn Valley Hotel. Roast beef and all the trimmings was truly excellent and the Katsu Chicken burger was lovely, very tasty. Will definitely visit again when back in beautiful brilliant Wales.
Absolutely fantastic. Roast Lamb was 10/10. Sticky toffee pudding was unbelievable as well. Very welcoming with the dog. If you want a decent roast, then look no further. Ā£18.00 was worth every penny
Was really quiet for a Sunday lunch. Surprising, considering how good the Sunday roasts are. I didn't take a photo as I was too eager to get eating! One of the best pub roasts I've had. And dog friendly, too
Lovely food very nice hosts and our Great Grandson and the rest of us liked the black ice cream
Stopped off for an early evening meal, fortunately grabbed the last vegan curry dish which was fantastic as were the chips and a very generous portion, really friendly staff made us feel very welcome, just what was needed before continuing our journey.
Delicious food. Simple well prepared dishes. I had a very tasty steak and chef happy to serve a diet version with lots of nice veg. Log fire. Not fancy schmancy just a real basic proper pub. Good beer. Loved it.
