Brilliant Sunday lunch, chef served us at the carvery. One of our party was gluten free and was able to eat everything except the Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. One of my favourite places to eat, I've been several times and food is always amazing as is the service. Recently I have developed some quite restrictive food intolerances and when I relayed these requirements the staff were incredibly helpful, the chef went out of his way to give me several options

Staying in the area and it was my birthday so decided to have a meal out. What a lovely pub and lovely people. Was a Friday night and it was busy. Was a rather large party booked in at a similar time to us but the staff were very honest that we may have to wait a while... Which we didn't mind at all

We recently stayed in Trefonen and ate at the barley mow every night ( apart from Monday’s when they’re closed 😢)
We received a warm welcome every night the food was amazing every night plus the two Sunday carvery’s we had.
It was good quality and plentiful.

Stayed in a garden lodge 4 a weekend break. Asked the man who owns it where can we get decent food he gave us this pubs information. The food was outstanding, home made chips 2. Should we visit the area again we will be stopping off at this pub 🙂🙂🙂

We were looking for somewhere to eat while at the balloon festival in oswestry. The Barley Mow was recommend as a dog friendly pub (we have 3 labs). We phoned ahead to book a table. Staff great, very friendly accomodated us and the dogs. Food lovely nice and relaxed. Would recommend and return when

Went here twice when camping nearby whilst on a long distance tour on my motorbike, the bar lady and waitresses couldn't have been more friendly and attentive, the food was spot on and generally just had a great atmosphere, a lovely place to eat and would definitely recommend!
Honestly, no bull , really enjoyable food, extremely tasty well worth a visit,three nights in a row three different meals all fantastic.will definitely return, great friendly people and great atmosphere.
