Really nice looking place, staff were very friendly, and the menu was really affordable
Only a slight criticism and that’s the service was a little slow to say it wasn’t that busy when we were there
And some other side options would be nice on the menu

Lovely food...Staff were so friendly and welcoming..great service! Witnessed a group of customers being extremely rude to the staff and giving them a hard time, was not deserved as the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful!!! We will definitely be back.
6 of us went yesterday (Friday 30th) for lunch thè food was fabulous we can highly recommend it. Lovely place and excellent service.
We had a little gathering here today following a children’s charity walk. The pub is beautifully decorated inside and the outside areas are fantastic. Couldn’t fault the service and the food was amazing! Thanks to all staff who looked after us and for your generous offering of drinks for all children when they arrived.

Been twice now , both times in the beer garden. The food was top notch and served with a smile and good attitude. Will defo be going again to dine inside which looks very chic and classy.
Went for lunch today the refurb is really good the food was excellent. Just what we need somewhere Local that serves delicious food at a reasonable price in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment with professional and friendly staff.
Have visited 3 times since the pub opened in Mid February, the food and service just keep getting better and better. A great homely feel for any occasion. Mother’s Day was fabulous with everyone from our party of 8 thoroughly enjoying themselves. Will be back soon but be advised that a reservation is recommended at weekends and special days.

Great little find on our way back home. Lovely looking from the outside and even nicer inside. Stopped off for dinner and got the cheese and onion pie with triple cooked chips, garlic bread for starters which was amazing. Dogs are also welcome which was a bonus for us as we had ours. Children's menu also a good selection. The young waitresses were lovely and attentive. Would definitely come back. (would love to know where the garlic bread was made as it is the nicest one ever.)
Just had Sunday lunch... EXCELLENT.....PRAWN SALAD STARTER AND A SOUP...THEN 2 ROAST BEEF DINNERS... EXCELLENT....LONG TIME SINCE WE'VE HAD BEEF AS GOOD AS THAT... HOT PLATES... LOVELY BEEF AND GRAVY... YORKSHIRE PUDDING MELTED IN YR MOUTH...PROPER ROAST SPUDS...NICE MASH THAT TASTED FRESH NOT WARMED UP...LOVELY VEG.....CLEAN PLACE... EXCELLENT ATTENTIVE STAFF... COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR YOU...HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.👍

Excellent food, had the Sunday roast and it was well worth it.
Busy time to be in hence 4* for the service and atmosphere but that's just personal preference, all staff were very friendly and atmosphere was as you can expect for a Sunday roast.

Absolutely fantastic night. Fast service, polite staff, and cant fault one dish. Seated 6 of us and we each had 3 courses. All our meals arrived together, hot and beautifully presented.
We ordered from the Sunday menu. There was plenty of choice. Everything was well presented and very tasty. The service was faultless. Highly recommended.
Lovely lunch with my lovely Aunty. Menu interesting, food delicious and well presented. Staff and service had just the right level of attention. Would come back to try some of the other dishes.
From the outset, the car park and tables dotted around will keep you coming back. The decor is a treasure trove of cricket, rugby and sport oddments. Real peanuts in jars and it just feels right. Please stay away as I want to go back and have a quiet wine. Which was recommended and Quaffable. My son will like that remark.
Fantastic food and great beer. The staff were lovely too. Definitely going to visit again soon. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing.

Very busy which is always a good sign. The food was good, the prices are high but being such a popular restaurant I can understand that.
There did seem to be more of a concentration on drinks service than food service, but it was 7:30pm so perhaps it's advisable to try and book in earlier. The red/yellow token system is a nice idea but didn't work on the day, it was busy but waitresses walking past the table didn't notice the tokens.
Tapas was delicious although some were smaller than expected, I recommend the bucket of chicken wings as you do get a decent quantity for that one. I had the duck breast for a main and it was lovely but the portions aren't large.
The Healy's Mess dessert was not to my taste, I would've liked more brownie and meringue as opposed to almost a sweet yogurt with berries, I will be trying another dessert next time.
Overall, enjoyable good food and the lady on front of house was very friendly and accommodating, she sorted out a minor hiccup in the kitchen very swiftly which was greatly appreciated. We will be back again in future, thank you!
Food was lovely. Was a mix up on our booking but the staff sorted the issue no problem. Would definitely visit again.
Just been for lunch today with my wife. Good quality food served hot and tasty. All the staff were amazing, attentive & polite. Perfect timing for every course and the dining area was pleasantly setup and comfortable. Well done to Brian & Team, a real delight to have visited first time and will be coming back 👍🏼👏🏼

Absolutely amazing as always!!! My go to for great pub grub 💯
This is a semi- country pub with a first class kitchen, the cuisine is typical 'pub' fayre but cooked to perfection. My party was a table for six with a baby we were seated comfortably and served politely. We all had starters and all looked excellent and plentiful, I had the crayfish caeser salad with anchovies which comprised of a generous serving of crayfish tails, a few fresh anchovies, lettuce, a few crutons which lacked garlic marinade and a few tasteless shavings of parmisan BUT it was fresh, very filling and good value at £8.00. I chose Battered fish, chips and mushy peas ( totally unadventurous) from an extensive menu but it was first class and excellent value. The Eaton mess pudding was also excellent but slightly overpriced. All in all this is an unpretentious establishment with a very good kitchen and well worth a visit.
