Thank you Paul for my lovely sandwich platter at the funeral breakfast this morning. It was very kind do provide me with a gluten-free alternative at a minute's notice. Best wishes to you, Tina and the team!

Wonderful little pub in an equally wonderful and pretty ideallic village. Got there for 12 noon on Sunday 9th April and got a table outside in very pleasant beer garden to enjoy the sunshine. Ordered roast beef Sunday lunch which was very reasonable. Full plate with slices of beef, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, carrots, roast spuds, parsnips and gravy, phew! VERY filling. Good choice of beers, large carpark. Overall excellent meal on a beautiful day in a beautuful, quiet setting. Highly recommended. Advise to walk round pretty pond afterwards to enjoy picture postcard setting. England at its very best.

Went here for a wake recently. Very friendly atmosphere, situated in the countryside with outdoor seating available. Clean and welcoming, it's quaint but in a charming way. The food was lovely, bar staff accommodating and quick to serve. Plenty of variety on the menu food and drinks wise and I would recommend for gatherings / parties or receptions. Parking is quite spacious and the decor/ decorating is typical of English Inns. Toilets were clean and easy to use. Just a lovely place all around.

Lovely quaint country pub, had a Sunday dinner which was good but a bit lacking in what you got with veg and also maybe just personal preference but I like my roast veg roasted for a while to get the sweetness rather than tasting full carrot and parnip flavours. They were lovely but just not cooked how I would have liked them and I know you can't please everyone but I'm just sharing my personal opinion on the roasts. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the whole experience was great and I'd definitely go back. For me on a Sunday dinner if they just made a tasty mash which I'm sure they could and a few more greens it would definitely be a 5 star

Great little pub found on way to billet in Peak District. Great food, large servings, freshly cooked and served piping hot. Reasonable prices and value for money. Had to wait a while to be served due to shortage of staff which we are finding everywhere, but well worth the wait. Highly recommended. Will be returning when next back to Peak District.

Really nice pub. We had drinks and meals served piping hot and they were lovely. We sat outside and the garden was well kept with nice surroundings in the quiet village of Osmaston. Staff were excellent under busy covid times. Just went inside to pay but all looked clean. Prices were really good and good food as well. Would definitely recommend. Dogs OK in garden but not sure about inside as we were outside. Good choice of beers and food dishes.

Lovely pub in a picturesque village. Plenty of seating inside and out. Dog friendly. The food was good. We had pork steak with a mushroom and stilton sauce, very nice. Prices average.

We had a lovely unexpected stop for lunch here today. The food was lovely and the staff were really friendly and helpful placing us in the garden out of sight for our reactive dog. We will definitely be back. Thank you
