Great looking pub. Looks like they spent a fair bit of money refurbishing it. Car park is large and well lit (helpful since its in the middle of nowhere). Service was very good although there wasn't a lot of people in there but then we were eating mid-week and quite early (6.30pm).
Food was delivered prompt enough and was both plentiful and super hot.
Would certainly visit again.
Beautiful food for the most part, overdone steak on one of our orders but couldn't fault anything else. Large portions, so decent value. Staff polite, friendly and quick to clear away
Lovely place. The food was fantastic, but the service was a letdown. Staff were all friendly and professional and apologetic for the problems, including the stone cold starter that had to be replaced. The meals weren't brought out together, so the family didn't get to eat at the same time. Restaurant was very clean but filled with smoke setting off alarms, assuming this is the norm as no staff reacted or informed customers that it was a real or false alarm.
Took my Mum for lunch here today, lovely atmosphere and great value for money. I had the Shropshire pork that was absolutely beautiful and Mum decided on the Ploughman's lunch which she said was lovely! Would highly recommend! Definitely will be back again!
Lovely village pub we booked a table for lunch wide Choice on the menu ,vegetarian choice was very tasty 1 friend had that. I had a panini .too much for me it came with salad, coleslaw and chips .I saw a fish sandwich being delivered to the next table with all its attachments I think it would have fed two .Prices for lunch weren't too excessive either

We visit this pub for food often and we've been there today. We are used to the great quality of the food and service. Everytime we go we are always impressed with the food and service. We've reviewed this pub before, but I'm reviewing it again, just to say this place is consistantly great and We've never had problem. Well done to the team there.
Made a last minute booking for a Saturday night and managed to get us in. Staff all very friendly and the food was very tasty. Will be returning again. Thanks.
I have ate here on several occasions, never had a bad meal, always huge portions, tastey food, friendly service.

Since our last visit its had a total refurb , which is very open light & spacious. The staff are superb, polite & helpful, the meals were excellent. Most recommended
Big portions, lots of choice on the menu and attentive staff. It was quiet when we visited. And there's a large car park to the rear.
Great food, staff need to be more aware of the surroundings, such as cleaning and clearing tables quicker
