Excellent village pub. Shepherd Neame ales on hand pump,, plenty of community events, big garden. Great place.
Today went for a cappuccino and sandwich, panini, side fries with friend...AMAZING...Fresh bread, lovely side salad, tasty fillings!!! Fantastic interior and good vibes. Staff lovely and helpful ❤️ And the evening menu looks fantastic...Will be back ❤️
I pop in with a group of friends occasionally, always welcomed with friendly bar staff and a nice pint , would definitely recommend
Great countryside pub. Very welcoming owners and the beer garden is beautiful. Try The Woodman's burger it's top notch 😊😊 I highly recommend for a nice meal or a drink with friends.
A group of us had a wonderful Sunday lunch today at The Woodman. Alice was very welcoming and attentive. Food was delicious. I recommend this lovely warm friendly pub.
Terrific place to visit, it was really good I came back,
Fantastic friendly little pub. Got stuck in the village for a couple of hours with the kids and couldn't have been made more welcome. Great pint of Whitstable Bay and the oxtail crisps are great !
Great pub. You can buy a freshly baked pizza cooked outside and eat it in the pub - perfect! Every Friday.
We went to this pub to arrange a wake for my mum who had sadly passed away. They was amazing and a big thank you to Wendy the chef 👩‍🍳, she was lovely as was the staff.
Very welcoming. Enjoyed lunch of fish and chips. Will return in the summer to make use of the garden
Lovely welcoming pub which serves good food and very good ale, so do yourself a favour and pop in for a visit!
Lovely welcome. Just popped in for a bit as we went for a wander. Ended up having lunch (well we ordered 2 starters to share). Just a good pub…the way I like pubs to feel.
It's a great place in many ways. A local that tries to make everyone welcome and I like that. Small but big enough and in summer great to sit outside. Food is well above average and they try to put on some variety. Book if you want to eat though generally you will be fine. As with most locals
Great Sunday roast friendly staff good prices 5 star will def come back
It's a lovely place to chill. Both the food and beer are pretty good, too.
One of two Nice village pubs. Adequate garden but there are better if that's important to you. On Fridays has a visiting Pizza van which offers fab pizzas at reasonable prices.
A great local pub with friendly staff, good drinks and good food. There are regular BBQs in the large garden during the summer and other events going on. The quiz on Thursdays at 8:30 is what gets me in every week. If wanting a meal before the quiz it's essential to phone ahead and book as it can be
Pete and his team made our first pub eating experience, safe comfortable and most certainly above and beyond government guidelines for covid 19. Thank you for a safe comfortable Sunday and lovely meal see you soon x
