Best Sushi you can get! So fresh so delicious and if you sit there the sushi chef is very entertaining, he kind of dances while rolling sushi in a very artistic way, it just takes slightly long, so if you're in the hurry you should call to order before. A few times I ordered my take away they always forget to put either ginger or wasabi in there for me but its not an issue, the sushi is too delicious to give them less than 5 stars ;) highly recommend this place

Came early evening for a meal, food and service was outstanding ! We got a selection of nigiri and rolls, that were all incredibly well priced for sushi. The salmon nigiri especially was perfect, easily the best we have ever had. The staff were very attentive and even provided complimentary appetisers and desserts! Definitely recommend for both takeaway and eat in, although do note the inside is very small so not many tables available for eat in, but it does make the atmosphere even nicer as you can see the chefs preparing your food in front of you. Will definitely be returning, can’t recommend enough !
Having been introduced to The Rising Sun by a friend, I am constantly blown away by the quality of the food. I always enjoy everything, but I have to say the sashimi is the freshest and best tasting I've ever had. The staff are also brilliant.

Best in southeast London. Only decent place in a 5 mile radius where I can get some decent variety of sushi. For anyone who wants not just salmon, salmon and salmon (pairing with a gallon of soy sauce), this is the perfect place to rediscover the breadth of Japanese culinary.
Family run Sushi restaurant which is the best, freshest sushi you will ever try. It is very popular so you have to get your orders early. I've been coming here for many years and the food is always 5 Star. Great quality and lovely people.
Best takeaway ever. Sushi is wonderful and the quality of sashimi is great and extremely clean. I have had it many times and never disappointed. I hope the owner and his team will stay healthy and continue to serve this wonderful food for us.

Food is outstanding!!! Best Sushi I've had in the UK! You can tell it is very fresh and that the owner cares about what he produces. Not sure about the criticism about the opening times warranting a 2 Star rating??!! As far as I can see they don't have their own website so can't control what others say their opening times are.
Hands down the best, freshest sushi anywhere nearby, and even better than most London establishments. We have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Chef is amazingly talented and knows all his regulars by name. A must try for anyone who loves sushi

Best sushi this side of Japan. We ordered a sushi banquet to takeaway and it was delicious. Polite, friendly service. We live half an hour drive away but happy to travel that far just to get my sushi fix, no where else compares. 🍣💖🍥
