It’s not often I visit somewhere and the Spoons trumps the lot of them. A great pub particularly if the weather is conducive to sitting out on the upstairs terrace. Prompt, efficient service with a great choice of ales.
Great friendly atmosphere, most of the staff are very helpful and polite. Drinks are great brands and even better prices. The food is great as I ugly get the same (pizza) as I know its good and can count on it. Also my wife get the boneless banquet meal as she can count on that. We are there atleast
A favourite of ours for good old pub grub and a convenient location. Shout out to Sue Briggs who goes over and above to make sure customers are well cared for, and consistently gives a fantastic service. We usually only see her on Sundays and can really tell the difference - the place is immaculate!
My 2nd review.. 1st was 4 years ago. Friday afternoon, busy but not too busy. Served straight away at the bar by friendly bar staff. Other orders via the app were delivered to my table in a couple of minutes (which was spotless when I sat at it) Empty gasses were cleared regularly. Ordered food...c
It's a Weatherspoons, need I say more. Very reasonably priced and a good selection of meals. Yes the meals aren't Michelin Star quality but you get what you pay for.
Not a bad Wetherspoons and good location. Gets busy. The refill coffee is great! The breakfast was nice and two plates had Wong items on. The furniture needs some attention as table 36 had some exposed nails as the arm rests had broken off and could hurt someone. Good stop for lunch and food was nic
Nice Wetherspoons and cheap enough car park across the road and the toilets are only up 1 set of stairs for a change. There was plenty of outside space on the balcony but unfortunately wasn't able to use it due to the weather being poor. Would like to see more cover
Had 3 sharers (Chicken wings, chicken bites and nachos), these were lovely and appetising. Had a decent range of cask and tried the coachhouse blueberry bitter which was surprisingly nice, for the price as well. Ordered the korma curry as it was curry club Thursday night and it was lovely.
Sometimes you can't beat a good old spoons' breakfast
Big bar+ roof garden. Worm feel to the pub standard spoons. V good service.
