What a fab little place. Have been to numerous events and activities here and always excellent. The interaction and time taken with the children is fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop and cafe are well worth a visit. Highly recommend a visit.
One of Ormskirk's best little secrets, a gallery with a regular change of theme and artists, a lovely cafe and the best little gift shop ever. The craft markets are always worth a trip.

Popped in here yesterday as we were having tea at The Edge overvthe road and I love a good repurposed chapel 😃 and this didn’t disappoint - especially the excellent Alice in Wonderland exhibition! Loved it there and I will come back for one of the markets - we’ll done
Been to this gallery quite a few times as they always have brilliant contemporary works from at many times high profile international artists. For a small gallery they have great stuff to see, which changes quite a lot and also has an excellent selection of crafts and gifts and some beautiful hand made unique pieces of jewellery to buy with similar pieces to the Bluecoat gallery....but at much cheaper prices! - great for gifts and cards if you want something a bit different. Also has a nice cafe too in a lovely building in a nice town so great for a whole day out. Also has alot going on to keep kids entertained so worth it on a rainy day. A hidden gem.
Love this place. Great cafe, brilliant shop and wonderful display if artwork.
Our first visit today to the Lempen Puppets but it certainly won't be our last. My 2 children loved it and laughed till they could laugh no more!
Sign us up for future events we'll be there!
A real art gem tucked away in Ormskirk - superb exhibition great art
Great place great people great shop great cafe excellent exhibitions!!
I love this gallery. Love the art, love the café, and I recently started learning acrylic painting there on a Tuesday lunchtime. The tutor, Sarah Jane Richards, is just brilliant. Thoroughly recommended on all counts.
Fab little cafe fantastic service great food! Hidden gem 😊
We love chapel gallery and have been going to their holiday events for years! They also work closely with Aughton christ church school! Thumbs up from the Foulds Family!

We had a great time at the play on Saturday (puppet theatre). I didn't expect such a high standard performance for £4. Will follow what will next in this place :)
It was absolutely fantastic yestedat meeting Nick, and the highly interactive exhibition. My 3 year old and 8 year old both loved it. Nick Sharratt was amazing, took so much time with the look signing, talking to the children, asking them about the books they had took along, and each one he personalised and did a little illustration in too. It was absolutley brilliant. Hope you have more like this planned.
Cosy music gig. Loved the gig but found sitting on a stool for a few hours very uncomfortable. The table layout could have been improved to offer more seating around tables. I guess they did what they could in the small space.
It is under new management, which is a blessing. Originally, the layout had the cafe at the rear of the building, although small, it became a tremendous success thanks to
Mrs Fillingham, who invested a huge amount of energy and time in making it work despite the cramped space. When that lady left, the customers soon followed, and it became a wasteland.
The building was revamped, but its cafe had no ambience unlike its original model. It had been put upstairs which seems to have put it out of reach. This latest manifestation places the cafe in the largest room available, the old theatre. If anything, it is too big, but nonetheless an improvement. Coffee originally produced in the original cafe was the best in town by a light year. The new management is courteous, keeps a clean establishment, and has regular clients for what appeared to be wholesome food. You won't regret giving it a go.
We went here to see Disney jazz tonight. It was excellent 👏 👌! The owner was very friendly and gave us a free ginger bread, home baked and gorgeous! It's really nicely decorated inside and even has a gallery. Definitely give this place a go!
The venue is fantastic, staff are lovely and helpful. The whole family had fun at the magic show and really enjoyed the musician. Didn't have any of the delicious sounding food so will have to try some next time, the cakes on display looked very tempting too
Nice place to drop in for a coffee, and maybe a light bire to eat , very clean and staff excellent! Recommended
Excellent and friendly service. Great food and coffee.
The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The food is great for the price. The venue itself can seat up to about 60 people. It's clean and has a friendly vibe to it. If you get any spare time there's a gallery on the back which is worth a view .
All in all a very well maintained great service and reasonably price id give 5 stars .
Beautiful little coffee shop that I must have walked past dozens of times before one of my students told me about it. Delicious coffee and even better cake! The staff are wonderful 🖤
Great evening last night ....the new series of jazz events The Jazz Spectrum hosted at the Chapel Gallery has found a great venue. Now how come I've never discovered this gem venue before. Totally recommend following them on Twitter and see the evets unfold. It'll get a big following in this university market town.
A very friendly venue with good coffee and good snacks.
