Really good pub food, very well presented. Charming and attentive staff. Definitely recommend for a decent lunch. The olive oil chocolate cake comes highly recommended.
We went on the Sunday booked late and wasn’t a problem. Food was really good we had the roast Turkey. Plenty on the plate and side of vegetables which was good. Food for vegetarians as well if needed and a couple of options for non Sunday lunch. Followed by a good size sticky toffee pudding.
Really nice country pub. The food was presented nicely and overall really tasty but some elements on the plate were a bit oily and bland and didn't add to the overall dish.
Booked quite last minute. We had a table in the bar, service was really good, friendly atmosphere, local pub vibe (dogs allowed). Food was also really good. Burger and steak cooked perfectly. Reasonably priced too. Recommended!
Just popped in for some lunch on our way home. Interesting menu, tasty food and pleasant service. Very dog friendly and provided a water bowl before being asked.
We came here for the first time last Thursday; Steak night! We both had a 10oz rump steak, cooked perfectly, for £10. Sides were additional, but again the chunky chips and onion rings were delicious. We are local and this is by far the best meal we've had out for some time. I world highly recommend.
Nice, village pub. Big garden, but shame green, big bushes are gone. Kids have enough run-around space. Was eating here once and it was good food.
Lovely pub, prices are reasonable and pub warm and welcoming, food was praised by the group, only small comment would be how oily the food was, onion rings were dripping with oil as well as some other meals. Other than that everything was lovely
A lovely experience. Very good food, peaceful setting with huge gardens, and a friendly landlord who made us feel welcome.
Finally tried the Maidenhead and it was well worth it. Interesting pub food. Great beer. Very good friendly service and lovely setting. They were very accommodating in changing my wife’s carb for a salad but a bit of a shame that it was served on a very hot plate. Will go again.
