Just had our wedding at Smokies last week. What a great venue. Staff all were great and couldn't do enough for us and our guests. From planning to the actual wedding day everything was spot on. Clare and Jamie made sure everything went to plan and were reassuring all day. The food was fantastic, decor was great too. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were full of compliments. The bar staff, catering staff were fantastic. Thoroughly looked after by all.
The Hotel was amazing the rooms and bedding fantastic could not fault it . The staff were helpful nothing was too much for them in terms of helping you with your luggage to serving drinks and food. And as for the breakfast the team this morning did a fantastic job it was well executed.and the quality fantastic. My overall experience was 💯. Can't wait to go back. Even though I went to a wedding amazing, amazing thank you all for a brilliant time.
My stay here was amazing, the breakfast was really good, the staff were excellent and polite and always asked if are food was okay; my brother John got married yesterday and the service from the food was really quick and tasted amazing. I had a really good time.
Went as a couple with 4 friends to the Soul night with the meal and entertainment.
The food was served promptly and was nice enough.
The bar staff were very nice and friendly although the drinks prices were pricey.
Only downside was the poor stage lighting. The lamps were positioned so that the audience was blinded so we could not see the entertainers , and although being decent singers we could not see them clearly which spoilt the evening. Did mention this to staff but nothing was altered.
Would not go to one of these events again because I feel we did not get what was paid for.
Just had the pleasure of attending my friends wedding here. It was absolutely brilliant. The staff were amazing. The receptionist was so helpful. Alex made sure that the wedding ran smoothly. Miguel the barman was just brilliant with us all. The rooms were lovely, the food was amazing. I can't fault it. Thank you all very much.
Have been here on quite a few occasions. Rotary functions, other functions, and also to donate blood. Always clean. Large areas and meeting rooms are great.
Great stay with clean and spacious rooms and the breakfast was outstanding. Staff were lovely aswell. I'll definitely stay there again.
An ideal location to stay when visiting Oldham and Manchester. Stayed in the the constellation suite, so comfortable and modern.
Me and 3 friends went for afternoon tea that we won at bingo bingo, what amazing service we received, when we got there we were offered a bottle of wine because they couldn’t find our booking and it took a little longer to get out tea but WOW what an afternoon tea it was plenty of everything, the servers continually asked us was there anything that we needed the food was lovely but couldn’t eat it all so my friend took a lot of the cakes home.
I would definitely recommend afternoon tea at this place to everyone, it was enjoyable, delicious and plentiful definitely worth the money if we had to pay we definitely would x

Brilliant hotel central to lots of restraunts (10 min drive max) staff are very attentive and you can ask for anything. Rooms always cleaned when we come back and eveything has been re stocked and breakfast is lovley aswell as always full and ready when you go in. Would defo reccomend for the price
Went to a wedding reception it was a lovely room and the food was delicious.
I went here with my family to attend a friend's wedding. Everything looked beautiful, they did an amazing job and the day ran so smoothly.
I have stayed over night here before and the rooms are great for the price.
It is quite a compact venue.
The gentleman behind the bar (think he is Spanish) was amazing. He made me and my daughter feel very comfortable as we were there on our own for a little while.
Absolutely stunning venue ,well organised at extremely high standards and staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to please. Would highly recommend 💯.

Firstly the Princess party and show was amazing …i attended with my two Granddaughters and friends children and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day even had Father Christmas turn up . Fantastic start to Christmas .
Today my family came for Christmas dinner and it was very well organised and the food was lovely .
The staff worked very hard at both events and were helpful and cheery and made it a smashing time for everyone .
