Thought we'd just pop in for a quick bite to eat while we were out Xmas shopping.
I like to try new places. ( use to be Santander bank )
Was greeted with a hello please take a seat, not sure if it was table service as quite a few young waitress clearing tables bringing orders out, but having a 3 mins wait we realised we had to go to the counter to place our order.
We sat near the window, watching the world go by .
The menu is not over big but there is enough choice, pizza, jacket spuds, panini, soup, teas,coffee,juice.pastries.
Good prices as well, thought the word Deli would have made the menu a bit expensive.
Or order was jacket spud, chicken tikka filling side salad & hot panini with chicken tikka side salad & 2 coffees that came in bucket size cups ( regular ) the price £13.20
Wow! Not small potions we could of shared the panini and the jacket was very large with lots of filling, the only down fall with mine was the chicken tikka filling was cold on the jacket ( could of been hot ) but was still flavour some .
The whole place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, not over crowded with table & chairs.
We didn't use the toilet facilities but having used the Santander bank I know the toilets are down stairs could be a bit of a problem with children and the old ( didn't see a lift )
We would go again & would recommend.

Came to this lovely cafe recently with my son and a elderly friend, the staff where very friendly and went out of their way to make eggs on toast for Mary even thou it was gone 3 and the breakfast menu finish at 11:30, my son had the meat feast pizza and I had the steak sandwich which where both amazing and a good size glad I wasn’t greedy and opted out of ordering chips . Mary said the milkshake was well worth the money and my son loved the hot chocolate. Will definitely be coming back x
A brilliant meal lovely staff plenty of choices on the menu and decent affordable prices lovely food. I've been twice and would definitely recommend.
Deserves every star of the 5 star rating Excellent food and service!!! Afternoon tea was amazing and the service was super friendly . Would recommend to any one of my family and friends to try here.
Been a few times to this coffee shop. Food menu offers a good choice and is great value for money. Staff are always polite and accommodating plus service is always professional. Best choice of the coffee shops in Oldham town centre by a mile 😀
First visit yesterday with a friend for lunch. First thing we noticed when we walked in were the cream cakes and had to have one. It's a lovely modern place and we sat in the window people watching. The food was hot tasty and reasonably priced, well worth a visit, we'll be going again.
Had a lovely lunch today, staff always so welcoming and the food was great! Highly recommend it x
Had a lovely afternoon tea today...lovely friendly staff...definitely recommend
Very clean n bright. Smiling polite staff good service. The latte I ordered was so creamy and the bacon baguette was the best so tasty. Definitely would visit again and recommend!
I've been twice in the past week and love the food and atmosphere. The decor is very modern and loved sitting in the window seats watching the world go by with a cup of freshly prepared de caff Americana with hot milk. The staff were more than helpful and not to long to wait for my jacket potato and salad. I also had a slice of apple pie with cream. The owner came over to chat and I was impressed with his politeness and although he was busy he took the time to chat about the business.
Had a lovely afternoon tea. Everything about parliament square is excellent from the management and staff to the food they serve. Very roomy and airy. Will definitely return and comes highly recommended.

Had lunch there today food was so tasty and delicious. Staff really friendly and helpful would recommend this place and will be returning very soon!! Just what oldham needs
Lovely meal with family at parliament Square while we watched the light show, perfect atmosphere, attentive staff, child friendly, will definitely be visiting again, thank you for a great evening xx
First time we came here today had a cooked breakfast very nice and staff lovely will definitely be coming back very enjoyable
I had a wonderful veggie breakfast and, whilst there was a bit of a wait for my order, the quality makes up for any delay. Though the veggie sausage DID taste more like black pudding which was an intriguing surprise as that wasn't clarified on the menu. <>
I'd come here again because it's one of the few places to serve alcohol in the town centre as well as your food if you so desire.
Well, what a surprise we had after a stressful afternoon (puncher) we walked into parliament Square cafe &deli. We were met buy a member of staff with Happy smiling face and we were shown to a table buy the window where we able to watch the world go by. My wife and I had a bite to eat she had soup, and I had the bruschetta. The food was great, and so was the service the owner made himself known and chatted to us. If we're ever in Oldham again, we will definitely return
I really can’t recommend it enough. The staff are always really nice and the food is great. I usually have a breakfast or pizza depending on what time of day it is, or sometimes just pop in for a latte and one of their homemade scones!
The breakfast is always cooked really well and you can tell that the bacon and sausages are good quality.
The pizzas are cooked from fresh and taste like proper authentic Italian type pizza’s.
It’s definitely my favourite place to eat in Oldham!
Nice light airy place, visited today for a coffee while shopping. Good coffee, friendly staff and a nice chilled atmosphere.
Lovely bright cafe, atmosphere lovely and service really good. We had a lovely tuna melt and portion where very generous
Loved the food here, very reasonably priced and very fresh, definitely be going back. I had the mushroom soup and my daughter had a crispy chicken burger.
Great food
Lovely staff
Highly recommended.
Lovely service, clean and vibrant and a very nice atmosphere to have a bite to eat and a cappuccino.
We visited yesterday during the Illuminate event.
We had been to the nearby McDonald's to buy a coffee but, having been completely ignored by staff there, had left and found this coffee shop open.
We were greeted by polite, friendly staff who answered our allergy related questions before serving us with fresh, hot coffee at a reasonable price.
We'll definitely visit again.
A really lovely place to eat. Great food... the English breakfast is the best I've had. Coffee is really nice. Staff are all really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely visit again. Thank you 😊
Brilliant salad from the salad bar along with chicken tikka which was delicious. My friend had a jacket potato which was also fab. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent smothered burger. Can't remember having a tastier one! We enjoyed our meal. The only downside was no gluten free options. Gluten free bread for the burgers would be good.
Just had cake and tea it was really nice with good service
Called here in passing but it was lovely. Great staff, food served really nicely, coffee tasted lush.
I met a friend for coffee. It wasn't too busy. We ordered at the counter and then were served at the table. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was happy and friendly. It did get busy over the lunch hour period.
