Absolutely amazing food. Everything we had was delicious. We had takeaway and everything was fresh, full of flavour and in a different league to any other Indian food we have ever eaten. I can't speak highly enough of the quality, keep up the good work guys. Outstanding!

Fantastic, really tasty food, good sheesha, nice drinks and sweet treats options, the place does fresh juice too which is nice to see. Main thing I liked about the place was that it's REAL Indian food, which you rarely see around these parts. Service isn't the best but it's not the type of place you go for excellent service, plus it's food redeems it. If service is important to you I would recommend that you avoid Fridays and Saturdays as it gets very busy on these days. Top place really liked it overall.

First and foremost- the food here is quite possibly the best Indian food you are going to eat. Period! And that's not just the meat dishes. I very rarely have a vegetarian meal at an Indian restaurant as I generally find veg dishes lacking in the taste department, but here, the chef's have got it spot on! The staff are all friendly and welcoming wherever you are seated within the establishment and if you can't decide on which drink(s) to have- just ask the 'big guy' and he'll make you a drink that will have you ordering by the pint load!! The shisha lounge is nice and cosy with plenty of flavours to choose from. A great atmosphere whatever the occasion. It's rare for me to rave about an Indian restaurant but the food and service here are well worth ranting about. Keep the food consistent and I'll travel 300 miles every few weeks to fill my belly!!

I'm a big fan of curries and having visited this restaurant recently I have to say they do a fantastic curry. They have an extensive menu especially the vegetarian selection. I would also like to say that this place is amazingly inexpensive including the drinks. I would highly recommend this place. One word of advice though is that the curries are on the hot side so you've been warned although you could ask them to ease off on the strength.

Love the place and services. Staff is friendly and no complaints. Went there for the second time and even though they were under a new owner this time, standards have improved if anything, and the quality of the food is exceptional and no complaints once again. Food portions are quite generous and definately worth the money. As a comparison, in some Indian restaurants the portion sizes are small but the prices are quite dear. But, in this restaurant, the portion sizes are more than fair for the price. Overall, this restaurant is a prime location to go to with friends or family, or if you want to smoke Hooka or watch sports on their quite large TV'S or just have a drink at their atmospheric bar with lighting and just a way to get drunk and enjoy the night!

Amazing food and ambience at this delightful fusion East meets West pub. The staff were very welcoming, and there was a great choice of food and drinks with juices freshly squeezed, available. What i particularly liked, as a vegan, is their great vegan selection, and they have a separate kitchen for veggie foods! If you are visiting from Manchester, its worth knowing that this is en route and just a short drive away from the fabulous mountain and lake views. What a gem of a find.

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, however on this occasion I thought it would be a grave injustice if I didn’t spread the word and share my thoughts on this gem of a place. Having travelled a great deal and being born and bred in North London, where we have an abundance of Indian restaurants, I thought I had seen it all. I couldn't have been more wrong. The food at the Spice Tree is hands down the best I have had. I was simply blown away by the flavour of all the dishes we ordered. My usual critique of most Indian restaurants is that they are either a one trick pony with a signature dish or, more often than not, most dishes taste identical with the same sauces used in the paneer, mogo, mushrooms etc. Not at the Spice Tree though. Everything tasted amazing and more importantly different, making it impossible to pick my favourite dish. It is almost as if they have gathered the best dishes from every other restaurant to assemble their menu. The staff are very friendly and attentive, welcoming us upon arrival and visiting every table to ensure that we were all enjoying the food and experience. They clearly take a great deal of pride in this place. Regretfully having already overindulged on the other courses, we could not try the desserts however the table next to us said they tasted delicious. I’ll definitely leave more room next time! The aromas coming from the Shisha area were divine and they have an unbelievably vast selection of drinks at the bar (also on our agenda for next time!). I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Give it a go, you won’t regret it. Keep up the great work guys! I look forward to visiting again very soon.

Great food, fabulous staff. We took my mum here for her 70th Birthday celebrations! Proper gujarati/indian food with a fab selection of beers and booze for all. The staff were great, nothing was too much and the owners were fantastic!

I was in the area visiting friends and they took me this Indian Pub/Shisha lounge in Oldham. I was a bit apprehensive about the location but I couldn't have further wrong. The Garlic Mushrooms were delicious. The extensive vegetarian main menu was great. The channa masala sauce was incredible. The front of house was very hospitable as well the waiter.
