Been coming here for years and never had a bad meal , the food is always excellent,the service great , and if you ever ask for extra vegetables or anything else it’s always brought to you with a smile and never appears on the bill as an extra , had numerous family events her too from parties of 7 to 20+

We go to the Roebuck very often, it's one of our favourite places to eat, we also go there for our Christmas dinner! The food is fantastic! So are the staff. I would recommend it to anyone. The views are great as well!�
We celebrated out son's 18th birthday in the Roebuck last night with 18 members of our family.
We had a lovely room to ourselves, too enjoy our meal.
We all had different options from the set menus, the food was lovely, fresh, served quickly, not one hiccup and all our party enjoyed all 3 courses.
Thank you to all the staff who were so friendly and polite.
Went here for our valentines meal and it was perfect food perfect service and value for money the duck is a must to try x
Been twice in the last few months for the afternoon tea, such a lovely idea in the little basket and you get quite a lot, my youngest daughter couldn't finish hers so the staff boxed it up for her to take home. It was a mothers day treat but unfortunately my mum was doing lent so couldn't have the cake so she ordered off the lunch menu. So looks like we will have to go back soon so my mum can enjoy the afternoon tea �
This is a regular haunt for my in-laws and in this occasion we went for his 91st Birthday. The food was top quality and the portions were big. The service can be a little leisurely for some but we were in no hurry. Wendy is always sensitive to food not being hot enough. Not here it was piping hot. Great all round.
Been now a number of times. Really nice food and even nicer staff. Always busy but the food is served quick and staff always on hand to take drink orders. Family friendly. 11/10
We often go on a Tuesday or Wednesday yesterday we took our youngest granddaughter i had the burger and my granddaughter had the children's burger. Her burger was just as big as mine and we both enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend going to the Roebuck.
Only 1 thing which I wasn’t bothered as my starter and main were spot on . Just my custard was a bit thick but it was the best stake I have had for a while

Sunday lunch. A wide menu with some very reasonable prices. Food was excellent and service very good all with great views from the dining room. Much recommended.
Visited this evening for a relaxing meal out and the roebuck provided just that. Starters were spot on and just enough. For mains the hunters chicken (it was huge) and the Seafood salad (never fails to impress)
All in all a lovely evening and quality food

A walk down memory lane with my family as the Roebuck was a neighbourhood property many years ago. The service, food and atmosphere are still of amazing quality and in the same ownership. Sunday Lunch was as memorable as expected and we had a wonderful time. Many thanks to everyone.

This is the place where i work & have done for the last 37years,food is all made from fresh produce,meat,fish,vegetables all prept in-house,meals made to order & some meals made by special request.

Wow. Made a reservation and included that we had our 15 mth old Granddaughter with us. Great greeting and led to a table already set up for her. The service was outstanding, everyone's needs met and more. The food was incredible, and we couldn't finish . Ask for a doggy bag(Steak/kidney pudding is massive) the Sea food salad is incredible. In our top 5 of local places.
Gorgeous countryside pub, so picturesque.
The food was delicious and the pub had a great variety of alcohol on offer.

We went to The Roebuck on recommendation by a work colleague for my Wife's Birthday meal.
The food was absolutely fantastic, we couldn't fault anything with it. However the staff were a little overwhelmed maybe they were short staffed on the evening.
The restaurant was nice but a little dated, but the garden and views are amazing 😍
The best Steak & Kidney pudding I've ever had & homemade chips, mushy peas & gravy to go with it... Unreal! Lovely views at the back to have a pint in the sun. Will definitely be coming back!
First time amd was really impressed, food really good, prices were really good. Little outdoor area for the kids. gets really busy though so booking a table is a must!
Came here for Sunday lunch. Great value with plenty of choice. We both had the roasts and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice wines and beers too.

Had our Sunday dinner and the meat melted in your mouth, it was that tender. 4th time we have been so far. Last time round took my mother out for her birthday
Visited mid week the food was the best I had for years, we have been going out as a foursome for last couple of years and have struggled to find somewhere we would return to but without a doubt will return here( sooner the better) as an added bonus they have Grampa Greens ice cream yummy,
Booked a table for 2 on line, process was simple. Lovely pub with great views. Food was delicious and portions were generous. Friendly staff and dog friendly too. Would recommend x
I come here now and again, the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The beer garden is great, it has amazing sunsets and a nice play area
The view was incredible. Staff was lovely. Best cheese and onion pie I've had in a long while. Highly recommend a visit.
