Been told about this place for a few years. Finally made it and it did not disappoint.. not your standard greasy Chinese.
The best this side of Brum hands down! Plus you can ask for your food to be cooked in rapeseed oil as a healthier option. Fresh and tasty food, has not yet failed to impress me or misses.
Fantastic food. Just had sweet and sour king prawns and I've never eaten anywhere that fills its dishes with so many prawns and main ingredient. Have been shopping there for nearly 25 years and drive 5 miles to continue to do so
My food experience has varied from here, although overall falling on the good side.
The fried rices are on the blander sides, whereas the ribs or sweet and sour dishes are flavourful.
Clean place though and definitely within the top Chinese's of the area.
Very good food from here. A decent vegetarian offering and never had a bad meal from them. The only improvement they could make is with their phone system as sometimes it is extremely difficult to get hold of them

Beat Chinese takeaway I've ever been to (and I eat Chinese every Saturday night and have done as long as I can remember). Was a regular customer here for the whole of my childhood until we moved slightly further away and we have not found any to replace it, food feels light and healthy instead of sticky and thick like other Chinese takeaways. Still travel over this way now even though it is a further distance for us. Unbeatable as of yet.

Based on my 1 visit (so far), somewhere between a 4 and 5 star for me but happy to rate 5 star, as up there with some of the best places I've visited, if not quite the best. Food is very good and is reflective of the price, which is above average. A few appealing, bespoke dishes on the menu, which is usually testament of the best Chinese takeaways. The lady who took my order could have been a little more personable, but not to skew my overall rating of the establishment, it’s the food that counts
On the same note, just a quick one for those leaving 1 or 2 star reviews for what is clearly a very good takeaway - pls don't, yes you might be upset that a delivery was late or something was missing in your order but for the benefit of others pls don't use this as an opportunity to vent your frustration. It just doesn’t make sense to say that the food was good (or not to dispute that it was) yet at the same time give a 1 star rating. Even a Rustlers microwaveable burger is worth more than the one star
As always the food was delicious though my spring rolls were a bit chewy.. It would have been better if we could order on app and they did delivery .. The collection of food and ordering was a bit chaotic.. they need a person to take walk in orders and a person to man the telephone orders. 😊
We have used this Chinese takeaway for many years，never a bad meal and your service is good.

3rd time of ordering from Ki Ban and the food and service is always first class, we wouldn’t go anywhere else now. You have to collect as they don’t deliver but for this quality of food it’s worth it ! Well done Ki Ban
