As a new guy in the world of Desi pubs, I was very impressed! TBQ has a great selection of lagers large, TV's showing sport and a fantastic food counter at the back of the pub serving asian food. The people who run/work at the pub are really friendly and the food portion are HUGE!! 3 sizes of mixed grill and I ordered the large (one in the middle) and I couldn't eat it all - me and the missus both had to bring it back home! I came a few weeks ago for the first time with friends and had a curry - that was equally as nice. The pub may look a bit dubious to some from the outside but please don't let that put you off as it's brilliant! Highly recommended!
Went hear with my family for drinks and food and both were top class. Highly recommend the food.

The food here is some of the best that Birmingham has to offer. From mixed grill to any Indian curries and breads that you can ask for.
The staff are all very friendly and the speed of the service is impressive. Meaning you don’t need to order in one go you can just ask for more naan as and when.
There was 8 of us in total and we spent around £94 that included two rounds of drinks.
The pub is small but cosy. Service is superb.!!! But the best part is the food.!!
The quality and the taste is miles ahead of many many good quality Indian restaurants.

Sunday lunch we wanted something different rather than roast . So decided to come here and it didnt dissapoint . It was so fresh and tasty we had starters and main and shared all the selections ... we will be coming back soon ..x

Typical desi pub. Excellent food and drink.
This is our new go to place in Brum now for a decent Indian flavour. The lads i go with always have a grill and a curry, I stick to my staple curry. On this occasion I opted for a lamb claypot special. Very flavoursome, not hot at all. The grill I've never had as you can get that from anywhere. The food is tasty and well worth it. Price is decent too.
Myself and a lot of my friends from my Masonic Lodge meet up here for an excellent selection of foods, outstanding service, friendly and welcoming staff and such a warm reception. Highly recommended to anyone who maybe just want a snack with their drink, or a 5 course meal. Definitely rated 11/10.
Iv eaten in most local curry pubs most have there ups and downs. This is in my opinion the best all rounder. Food is really nice. , portions are good. unlike some other places reducing sizes.
Getting a 5 from me due to the butter chicken and the chilli chips. Mixed grills ok too. 👍🏽
