I organised a gathering and went to a rival Desi Pub, however it was a little rowdy and some of the punters were a little rude. My friend suggested this place...off the beaten track for me. I was surprised how the place looked on the inside. The menu had a good selection of dishes for carnivores and vegetarians alike. The old eyes bigger than stomach mode was on. In hindsight, should have opted for a smaller mixed grill, but hey it's Christmas. If you like a good Indian mixed grill then you will not be disappointed with this one. It came to our table sizzling loudly and smoking hot that could set off several smoke alarms. A great selection of meats. The Cottage grill can comfortably feed 4 people as 2 naans are included. It is fantastic value for money. I also ordered a lamb saag. The meat was very tender and full of flavour. The sauces and dips were served in dishes unlike some pubs where they use giant squeezy bottles. Paper napkins provided, not a roll of cheap kitchen roll as you would find in some places. It's good to have a take home option if you can't eat it all. Above all the staff were very friendly. I'll look forward to visiting again at some point.
Came for a meal last night for my birthday. Was not disappointed. One of the best meals I have had out for a long time. Great service & friendly staff. Highly recommend the large mixed grill,huge portion. Good prices and really enjoyed our meal. 5 stars!
Went here on recommendation of people I know so was unsure, must admit glad we went food 5 star � staff 5 �. Service that much food had to ask for a doggie bag. But we'll worth a visit will be going again might have smaller portion though lol

Booked a table for 18 for a baby shower for my sister. They gave us a row of seats so we were able to sit together. Allowed me to decorate the table with balloons and a few favour. They refrigerated a cake I bought with me. Atmosphere was lovely and the service was brilliant the staff are amazing and the food was serious served to us very quickly no delay and the restaurant was busy... I couldn't of asked for better. Defiantly be going again.
Travelled from London, Hidden Gem in Oldbury at the outskirts of Birmingham. People who visit the area plan here for Lunch or Dinner. Can enjoy football along with most delicious food in the city. Excellent customer service especially the lady at bar, felt welcoming.
Very good price for quality and quantity of food served hot. Taste yummy with nice Indian spices. Enjoyed with our favourite Staropramen draught beer. Big place for kids to move around the restaurant. Large area outside to enjoy the drinks on a Sunny day. Nice place for fun with friends and family.
We visited here today upon a recommendation, the food was amazing and the service we received from Amo was exceptional. He couldn’t help us enough even offering us tubs to take the food we have left home with us. The portions are huge and the price is incredible for what you get. I would highly recommend visiting here 😊
Absolutely fantastic place. Food and drink were both great quality and the service is second to none. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Recent visit was of a very high quality and standard.
The mixed grill and masala chips are both excellent in quality.
All staffs are very friendly and courteous.
We always attempt to visit at least two-three times a year.
Definitely worth the food and visit.

This place is a hidden gem. Staff are lovely and accomodating and the food was brilliant. Have a vegetarian menu to accomodate all. Food was cooked beautifully 👌

Been here a couple of times now and the food has been spot on each time. It gets really busy so be prepared for that. The beer is good and decently priced. We never leave any food as we love it so much!
**update** still as good. Not put their prices u either so excellent value for money. The cider on draught is lush!
A unique place. Part bar part restaurant. One of the few places we could find open for a vegan lunch. Food didn't didsapoint. Lots of flavours and very tasty.
I go to the mother pub (new Soho in Winson Green), so a first time visit to the Soho Cottage in the Black Country, same menu, really good sizzler and bullet nan, great rice, Amo a super friendly lad got everything spot on...ill be back with friends
Banging food, the staff were great and watching the boxing there was a vibe! Definitely recommend!

An unassuming place, I've used to live in Oldbury and never knew this place was an eatery. We happened to fall into it while going to another place that was rammed.
We asked a few random lads on the road and they suggested it. It's decor inside is nice and fresh, definitely been enhanced. Service was good and food was tasty 👌🏾. Will be going again and also taking a few friends.
Ive visited soho tavern so i thought id try this one.
Staff were friendly, polite and helpfull.All the food is delicious. My only grumble is that the Chicken tikka masala is different to soho tavern,but still very nice.
Chilli chips were actually better than the tavern which i did not think was possible.
Menu has changed so no more pork steak.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Would recommend this for everyone. Great place to take your family. Customer service was 100% friendly, professional and efficient.
