This is a new place in A' Town by a very old well known chef Aanal Kotak who successfully runs SECRET kitchen already! Everything from ambience to food to hospitality is top notch. I loved every bit of my experience. You must visit the place . Their USP is desserts. You would love them trust me.
Amchur was a wonderful find in Old Windsor. We have never tried Nepalese food before and the waiter was very helpful in recommending delicious items to us and explaining them to us. The papadam dips were exceptionally tasty. Price was good. Overall the meal was excellent and we would definitely retu
The staff were very welcoming and nice throughout, the food was really nice. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.
Lovely service and food. My favourite is probably the saag paneer - delicious flavour without being oily and paneer cooked to perfection. My husband says this is also the best saffron rice he has ever had. We will definitely be back!
The food here just keeps getting better. Excellent authentic flavours with very good service. The chef can often be seen coming out visiting his clients and asking about the type of spice / heat they want etc. ask the staff for recommendations. You won’t be disappointed.
First visit to Amchur Restaurant and I am looking for to our next. My mother and I called in and were served an excellent array of of different dishes, explained by the charming waiter. The flavours were absolutely awesome and that was the lunchtime set menu we had. Definitely worth a visit to Am
Nice choice of Indian and Nepalese dishes. They’ll definitely be some you want find in a standard ‘indian’ restaurant. Service good with everyone friendly and attentive. Chef/owner came out to say hi. Only negative would be that it’s ok the higher price side of things.
So me and my wife went to this restaurant last night, it has been on my to do list for ages. OMG it was amazing, the food was great, the service was great, big portions and great flavours and taste. You must try this restaurant, I will recommend to others and will be going back myself. Great job lad
Food was best we have tasted. Service excellent. Was a quiet night so atmosphere was ok and would probably be a 5 if busy. You must visit the flavors are amazing, Will definitely be a regular.
We visited after a trip to Legoland, Windsor with a very tired and hungry 5 year old child. The staff and chef were so accomodating - made my son a very mild curry which he thoroughly enjoyed. I'm vegetarian and my husband non-veg so we had a mix of dishes. Extremely polite, friendly service and foo
A great improvement given the last time I visited here it was a hardware store. Love the big window from the restaurant into the kitchen so you can see what is going on. The chef is very accomplished. Had an excellent lamb curry that packed a real punch as well as some great veggie options like Dal
Amazing experience. Brilliant team who wants to make sure you have a great experience. Food tastes amazing, very authentic taste. Will visit again.
Excellent curries, we tried some of the Nepalese house specialties and a lemon rice out of this world. Well worth a visit.
Absolutely top drawer, starters gorgeous, main was perfect along with rice naan also, friendly staff and chef took the time to come and say hello and see how things were, nice added touch that, just passing through but will definitely call in again if and when we are in the area……thanks again
We are pescatarians (mostly veggie) and it can sometimes be difficult to find an indian restaurant with great veggie dishes. The food from Amchur did not disappoint! Excellent flavours in all of the dishes we ordered. The only let down was that the King Prawn Vindaloo came with only three king prawn
