A pub and a hotel. There are lockers in the backyard garden for your bike, the pub is well organised for taking orders then delivery then at the right table.
Loved the breakfast (eggs Benedict my choice). In the evening the cakes have large portions and the beers are really many among them to choose
Excellent Spoons Hotel. The staff are all very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable to. Top base for exploring this part of the world.
A great spoons, in a small town, not a typical site, a narrow corridor runs the length of the pub, the place doubles up as a hotel too.
The Hotel is excellent. Historical old building, modern spacious & comfortable rooms, luxury feel and very clean. Nice reception staff. Pub not so good, it's ok. Food was good, but hard to find a table which wasn't in a draft or uncomfortable for other reasons. All very, very central for to this lov
As it is a Wetherspoon pub I decided to stop by for lunch. It was a quiet Friday afternoon and the pub wasn't so busy. Ordered steak and kidney pudding with chips and peas and a pint of Ruddles for just under £10. This inn has a rich history and is one of Okehampton's oldest pubs.
The best wetherspoons around, having attended around 20 across the country. The others should take their lead. Food was good, service excellent.
Lovely Marston's pub, I've never had a bad experience in any I've stayed in, the food is good and plentiful and Marston's beer is superb. Only four stars because even though the building is old, I think it was probably a coaching inn, it really could do with a bit of refurbishing.
Well it's a Spoons! I go there for a decent breakfast. The service is always quick and friendly. The only criticism I would make is that many of the tables need clearing. However, there are plenty of tables that are clear and clean so it's not a problem. I realise that the fast friendly service may
A wonderful, historic hostelry. Entered into the cosy coolness of the bar, from a hot day outside. The food was delicious and the service was exemplary. Relaxed into an armchair and did not want to leave. The usual Wetherspoons fayre, with cheap drinks and menu, but a cut above the average. Outside
Stayed overnight here. Rooms up to the high standards expected at Wetherspoon hotels. Clean, comfortable a very good VFM. Well kept beers. Good breakfast.
Good quick service. However, prices have gone up again. Now over £10 for a curry. We don't go as often as we used to as a result.
Stayed for the night.
Really nice clean rooms, spacious too!
Really nice dinner and breakfast in the morning!
Bonus is the reasonably priced drinks!!
Would recommend👍
Yes, a pretty standard Spoons but the staff were amazing. Particularly at 8am in the morning. The kitchen did mess up our order but the guy who was serving sorted the issue before I had got back from the coffee machine. Humorous and respectful. I docked a star because the place needs a bit of TLC.
Stopped here for dinner. Didn't realise it was a Wetherspoons. Ordered a couple of sides, mains, and a drink each for £18 !! The food was nice, service was good. Highlight of the evening was the toilets, probably the nicest toilets I have ever seen in a pub!! See the pics.....
