Absolutely lovely and welcoming pub. The food is brilliant and the prices are excellent.
The 12" chilli dog and chips is the best. Even sparked off an eating competition between four grown ups!
Dartmoor Brewery beer on tap... what more could you ask for!

Excellent hostelry. Extensive menu. Good food. Only downside is that with so much of the menu being prepared to order it can be a while before it arrives. Fortunately, it is worth the wait.
Popped in on a Saturday evening, the place was packed and fully booked however the staff were wonderful and managed to squeeze us in. The Dartmoor Jail Ale was excellent as was the meal. A wonderful local pub, can’t wait to go again.
We visited here for lunch as a party of about 25 people. The menu is extensive and excellent value for money. Good portion sizes and quality meals. I would recommend this pub as a place to eat and drink.

Great pub with great value pub food and cask ales, definitely worth a visit, it's always busy lunchtimes. Note there's a good size carpark around the back of the pub (not easy to find).
Great sweet toffee pudding. Service was good and friendly. The food was not amazing but was adequate. The prices were quite good and somewhat less than the neighbouring pubs.
